When we arrived as a party of 3, all adult ladies, we were asked to wait a moment. We waited about 5 mins while we watched a manager and reception staff play rock-paper-scissors. Then 2 other ladies walked in and were seated immediately. I asked if we could get seated or do we need to watch you play games? The manager looked at us and apologized for taking so long to seat us and offered us an appetizer on the house. Ordering was another issue. We ordered our appetizer. Then gave our meal order. My soup was too heavy with salt. So I tried my salad it wasn't as good as I expected. So, after we are over halfway through our main course the appetizer finally arrived. Not going back ... service, food quality and timing made a special night into an night filled with many disappointments.

I arrived around 2pm and wanted to sit at the bar. There was one other couple at the bar and two tables in the room. After waiting 8 minutes for the bartender, Nick, to come into the room I patiently waited for him to approach me. He started yelling at me from the other end of the bar to take my order. I have a quiet voice so I told him I'd wait until he could come to me. He yelled "I'm not stopping for you". I was appalled at such horrible service. I mentioned to the hostess that he refused to come take my order and she sat me at a table and sent the manager on duty, Richard, to talk to me. I told him what happened and he excused the bartender by saying "he has the whole room to serve but I'll get a different waiter for you and complimentary rolls. She came and took my order. The salad, which luckily was good, came before my drink, the coconut mule. The drink proportions we're awful and the sour of it was overpowering. I ordered the smokehouse burger with fries and a side of ranch. The menu said the burgers are cooked medium, mine was very well done and crispy and there was just a small spot with BBQ sauce on it, and the fries were undercooked. I proceeded to observe Nick approaching each of the following customers and patiently talking to them. Maybe he is sexist or didn't think I was a worthwhile customer. I called the mod over again to see how he treated every other customer with the respect he refused me. I was charged full price and would never recommend Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen of fort worth to anyone. Horrible experience, first and last time customer.

Not going to mention specific names for server or waitress but it was all over a disappointment. It took over 30 to get even our beverage. Just me and another guest. Our request were simple. The silverware was dirty that they handed us. I just won't go back. I hope some serious changes take place.

Home cooking at excellent prices when compared to other restaurants of similar quality and menus. I have occasionally noticed that things like ribs and steaks are not very consistent, but overall I still have to give it a 5 star rating as these things are not really their signature items. I would say if you want plenty of good food for the money you cannot beat them. They also have things like house made salad dressing that all I've tried have been Wonderful!!However, if you don't mind spending the extra money and are looking for a good steak, seafood items, or ribs, you might be better off with a different selection. Pretty much everything else is amazing and good value!

The food was not cooked right. I ordered the 14oz Ribeye medium-rare. The outside of the steak came out burnt and the inside was literally bloody. For sides I ordered a baked potato and steamed broccoli. The potato was fine but the broccoli was mush, like when you leave cereal in milk for too long and it loses all its crunch.I don’t think I’ll be eating here again.

The food is great and the restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere.I'm going to mention the pre meal sweet croissants.....because there is no true way to describe in accurate detail the awesomeness. Truly a see it for yourself situation.

Pretty disappointing. My grilled chicken was tough and my vegie sides were mushy soft. The buttery croissant and the iced tea were great. When it comes to vegies, they should be still a little crisp. These tasted like they had sat on the back burner for awhile. Just making a few suggestions so you can please your vegetable loving customers like me. Thank you and happy cooking! ❤

Best spinach dip and those butter rolls ???. Anyone else loving the take out ? ? ? drinks at the restaurants? Food is reasonably priced and so far, pretty good. No complaints thus far.

FOOL ME TWICE!!! SHAME ON ME!!!Ordered here a few time with no complaints. However, Ordered two weeks ago and everything was old (I got there early)…chicken strips were old and tasted like fish. Green beans were hard as a rock. Mashed potatoes had that burn like they were from the bottom of pot left on too long.2nd attempt, today I gave them another chance. Chicken strips didn’t taste like fish but were older than the first time. Cheese bites, older than the strips. Green beans, hard! And check out the pic, they gave me a gallon of tea with plastic wrap as a top. This place has gone way down hill, not just down, the very bottom. I’m done and wanted to let you all know. Even if you’ve been here before, beware!!!

Good food and dessertLook at the size of this cake they give you
