Dinner there tonight, well I had the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and the broccoli casserole, and let's not leave out the Texas Margaritas are delicious. Other family members had burgers and thought that the meat in the burgers was exquisite. The chips and salsa were good. The salad with a pot pie is a good combination according to my 13-year-old grandson. We had good wait staff. Overall satisfaction with everything.

Went in Friday night around 7. We went in and were quickly seated. Server came by right away and dropped off rolls and took drink orders. Checked back for our order and everything was fine. After waiting for what seemed like a longer then normal time we asked the waitress if we could have an update on our order she came back and said they were just waiting on a few more items and it would be out shortly. After another ten-ish minutes I checked my phone to see when we had actually parked and it had been 1 hour and 7 minutes since we had parked our car and still had not received our food. We finally asked for a manager because we were just going to pay for our drinks and salad and leave. He came over very irritated and said they were behind because it was a busy night and he would go check again. Within 5 minutes our food came out. Unfortunately, 2 of our three meals were cold like they had been sitting back there forever. We ultimately just asked for the check. They did remove the two cold meals from the check but definitely not worth the long wait. As a side note a nearby table of more then 6 came in at least half an hour after us but received their food within a few minutes of us receiving ours and when we left there we no one waiting in the lobby and there were tons of empty tables not the backed up busy restaurant the manager led us to believe(we were seated in back). Our waitress was extremely apologetic and the only positive to the experience.

Look at your plates before eating! Our plates were not washed. They were discusting. They had dried finger prints from what looked like barbeque sauce. The bottom of the plates were also discusting. We told the waiter as soon as she gave me the plate and she just said it was from her tray. But there is no way 6 plates would get that dirty. We asked for the manager paid our $130 tab and the manager just said "ok i apoligize" and walked away. These pictures of our plates were taken as soon as they handed them to us.

Ordered take away and was told it was be ready at a certain. Showed up after that time and it still wasn’t ready. Not only that it took a good amount of time to even be helped. Had several waiters walk past me finally one walking into the kitchen asked if I had been helped. There was some discrepancies with my bill which I over looked, these things happen. Checked my food in the car and they forgot my chips. Normally not a big deal unless you ordered 3 different dips then they are essential. Went back in the manger was nice and all but didn’t offer to do anything for the other inconveniences and now forgotten food. Again over looked. My biggest problem was the fact I ordered a steak medium rare because I figure by the time I get home it will most likely be medium. I get home and cut into my steak and it was like cutting the center of a tire because it was well done! You can’t even accidentally do that nor would it cook that much because it wasn’t even warm when I ate it and I’m not to far from the place.

This was an awful experience. We drove in to town and many places were closed for weather that may have been moving in and this was a last resort. The appetizer was so burnt the cheese had blown out of the breading, the entrees were over cooked also, wife had white fish that was rubbery and flavorless, I had chicken and fried coconut shrimp both were over cooked and rubbery. Could hardly bite through them. Waiter was awful at attentiveness and couldn't remember which table had ordered the appetizers. We thought that it was going to be a safe choice being a chain restaurant. Also the restrooms were awful graffiti was scratched onto the changing table in the men's room soap dispenser was also broke. Would not recommend.

My g/f and I went in there on Monday for the first time. We arrive around 1pm or so and when greeted, there was apparently a staff shortage and the waitress we were assigned apparently was held over. While being taken to the table, the hostess dropped on of the napkin/silverware roll onto the floor, pick it up in front of us and put it on the table. Why they didn't get us a clean one is mind boggling. So we order a appetizer combo. It shows up, no sauces that we requested, no plates for it. By the time the waitress brought them, the appetizer was more or less cold. I ordered Coconut Shrimp, my g/f ordered the Country Fried Steak. When it comes out, no sauce again for me, by the time it makes it out, the shrimp are cold. The gravy on my g/f's entree was so congealed/gelatinous, it obviously had been sitting for some time before being brought. Personally there are so many nice places to eat and socialize in the Fort Worth area, this however is not one of them.

I've given this Cheddar's 3 different tries to get it right, thinking that, there is just no way Cheddar's is bad. Well. Three strikes and you're out. I get that you're supposed to be a from scratch kitchen...but from scratch doesn't mean taking a seasoning note from Lubys. Tuesday night. Ordered the Chicken Alfredo and the New Orleans Pasta for pickup. Arrived 2 minutes early for when it was supposed to be ready. Sat in my car an additional 25 minutes. I was actually cool with that. Stuff happens, tickets get backed up, even though it was a Tuesday night, possibly being short staffed. Who knows? Got home 10 minutes later and began to try to eat the mess that was given to me. My wife had me try the Chicken Alfredo, no seasoning... period, not even a hint of salt and pepper. The sauce was....what's the opposite of creamy/watery?...Chunky...nah not quite, but close. You know how when you make a meal for someone you care about the special ingredient is love...well this special ingredient was depression. Someone go hug the cook. Now for my dish, The New Orleans Pasta. Obviously, whoever made this has never eaten Cajun anything...cause I had to go and put creole seasoning on this just to make it close to a resemblance of New Orleans Pasta. Bland bland bland. So bland I could have given it to a newborn. Moral of the story if you think salt and pepper are spicy, you're gonna love this place.

Ok. Short staff. Not enough cooks. Gross thin steak it was raw! New staff. Food was cold. Our waitress was awesome. She couldn't help the cooks were backed up. The manager did take the steak off our ticket. They took it back and cooked it again. Needless to say everyone ate,but my husband. Didn't eat it. We don't eat food after taken back to the kitchen.Note: Not worth a 2 hour lunch. First time and last. Not happy!!!

*Original review made 1/6/22, updating for next day from service: myself and my sister both resulted in food poisoning (I had the steak pictured amd she had a shrimp alfredo)*Can't quite give it a one star as we've had great service before, but tonight's servings were inexcusable. For your consideration, we were a party of 15 for a birthday. Totally understand a scramble for a big party. But even the manager (didn't get his name, but we appreciated his responses to our complaints and have no issues with him, nor our great waitress Danielle.) 2 steaks ordered medium rare, but one was rare and the other was just straight up raw (MAYBE passable for a 'blue'). The rare steak was mostly edible, I dont mind a rare steak, but the fat was not rendered down at all, and so the meat closest to it was less cooked. Overall just uneven. 2 Alfredo dishes that were served with little to no sauce, 2 shrimp tails with no actual shrimp meat, and a coleslaw side with literally a piece of paper showing the order placed in the kitchen from earlier. The drinks were also inconsistent, 3 Texas Margaritas on the rocks, and 1 was considerably darker than the other 2. It tasted fine, and the other 2 tasted like straight mix, no alcohol at all. Fine, replaced one of the margaritas with a long Island and the other with a pain killer. The long Island was also bland, which is really disappointing for a drink that is usually pretty strong compared to other cocktails. The manager removed the raw steak, and one of the Alfredo dishes, as well as the subpar drinks. He also informed us that an inexperienced cook was in the kitchen. Again, we can understand some slip ups, but overall it was a poor experience.Danielle, thank you for the great service, sorry the other staff put you in an awkward spot with us.Hopefully future visits will be more like what we have experienced in the past: all around good service and food. Though we will pass on the alcohol most likely, as we prefer fresh poured and not pre-made in batches like the manager informed us on.*only took pic of my steak, the rest of the dish was decent but this portion was unacceptable, and as the rest of the faults were discovered, we were a bit too upset to document.*

I’ve never been so disappointed. First the server took 15 minutes to bring drinks then when we ordered our food, the order was cold steaks were burnt the manager made excuses for the poor service the waitress gave us.
