It's now conclusive: If you want to dance on the FW side of DFW, Cassidy's is the place to go. Last night at Studio 80 was fun, but it just can't hang with Cassidy's.Better dance floor - Cassidy's (they have a sand box and the floor is smooth - both floors at 80 were like glue and the back lounge floor is way too small)Better seating - Studio 80Better drinks - TieBetter DJ - Cassidy's, by a mile (the main floor DJ at Studio 80 ????, the lounge DJ at Studio 80 ????)Better service - Tie, with a slight edge to Studio 80Better dance crowd - Cassidy's, again by a mileSecurity - Cassidy's (they don't let people on the floor with drinks because they know this is an actual dance club and spilled drinks make it a sticky mess)It really comes down to the DJ, the dance floor, and the crowd. At Cassidy's, the crowd knows what they're doing and the DJ knows how to mix it up to make all the demographics happy. If Studio 80 switched DJs and had the back lounge DJ run the main floor, this would be a much different conversation.If you're someone who wants to get down to "Safety Dance", "I love rock and roll", "Karma Chameleon", and "Livin on a prayer", hit the main floor at Studio 80 and they'll give you that and more. For people who like to dance, including multiple line dances you won't see at a white couples wedding, head up 35 to Meacham and go to Cassidy's.
The manager Mike, at Cassidys is very unprofessional, rude, and unpleasant. Mike does not have any customers service skills. Cassidy’s must of been desperate to have hired such an unprofessional, unskilled person for a manager position for their establishment. Next, time make sure to hire the best person for the position, not just some warm body. Management is supposed to be a role model a leader to their associates. When a business has bad management as leadership, guess what follows right behind them, their employees which is always bad for business. Mike, could learn a lot from taking. a course in management skills and a course in ethics covering customer service. I feel sorry for Cassidys having Mike, as a manger, the club is very nice., but bad management will run the customers off, which will hurt the business, after awhile.Thank youAnonymous

No cover. Well behaved crowd. On site security inside and out. Mix of mostly 70/80's top 10 dance music, with some country, some line dancing and latin and newer urban mixed in
Have been going here for about 4 weeks, mostly cougars and jealous older women they dont get picked to dance with...Their is some good ones though.. I was recording my friend dance with an older lady, both were cool, then the ladys friend made it a huugggeeee deal , to not record her after my friend and the lady were done dancing she said it was okay..Like talk about over protective for what?....Then she got the manager , and manager didnt even hear me out... plus I had stopped recording , only did it for the memory , that older lady is dumb , probably hasnt had action in years!!but manager wanted to kick me out for no reason at all! I didnt do anything wrong, he just went up to me and said I had to go...dont know if I want to go back or not...probably not. after that. good luck the dinosaurs will become extinct , then no more money for this club loll, only reason we go is bc its close.....Doesnt surprise me that yall dont want to even hear somebodys side , even though a woman and 2 guys were advocating for it.... rather listen to some old lady... Also never got corporatates number, or the location of corporate.. if its this location or another just say that ...

Oldschool place that has an up to date ambient atmosphere.
Nice little bar/club to hangout in Fort Worth attached with Radisson Hotel. Safe and good crowd. Their food is great too. Friendly waiters and staff.
