Very DisappointedI've been eating at this Captin D's for years and never had the fish been so disappointing.I ordered a three and a four piece comb. ($22.00)I'm not sure why they changed their cod fishbut it was discussing! It makes me wonder what I was really eating. Needless to say I ate the sides and throw the fish away, a waste of money!Probably want go back!!
I gave two stars because the lobster rolls were good, however I am highly disappointed in the meal I received! I spent 19.00 bucks on a two piece catfish, baked potato, and green beans and lobster rolls! I’m not sure what kind of fish they gave me but it was rolled up, a baked potato, no condiments, and hush puppies were cold! Yea that was my last time.

Great, friendly staff. Freshly cooked-on-the-spot food, reasonable pricing with large shrimp n fish platters. Easy access on Spur 580 just east of Loop 820.
A fan of anything deep fried, I approve of this resturant. Nothing fancy about it. Started by Captain John D in 1488. D himself took great pride in boiling different types of animals in blistering hot oil. He took even more joy in watching salty tears roll down the eyes of the patrons that he served his meals to. Just as good, or better, than Long John Silvers, CD's gives you low quality seafood with the highest quality, heart-attack inducing flavor that will stick with you all the way until you fall asleep. I was dissapointed that the staff no longer engages in sea shanties or making rude customers walk the plank. But, do they ever know how to stuff a crab full of other fish, fry it, and then serve it to you. While everythign inside is roghtfully covered witht he standard amount of seafood resturant grease, the resturant was very clean and tidy. If you like cheap fast-food sea-food at a good price then this isn't a bad spot to get just that.
Hello Everyone,Ok let me start out by saying that I don’t particularly care for the way they changed the counter top when you are ordering, the restrooms are not that clean, however the customer service and the food is amazing. If you want good fist service and good food at a good price then this is the place to go.
This location is FANTASTIC PERFECT & 100% ON POINT EACH & EVERY TIME! They have some menu choices that you dont normally see at a fast food-drive thru type restraunt. The staff are all very kind, knowledgeable ) menu and have a wide range in their age showing the management is fair, open minded and clearly top of the line Manager. My family and i eat here normally 2 times a week and its great each visit. If your in the westside of FtWorth......passing by u should stop and enjoy!
The lobby is actually open! They dont tell u over the phone that it is and u get there and it isn't! Which is awesome! Their food is worth the price, Its actually good and not salty at all! Very lightly fried! Very well done guys!
