So I told myself I'm going to do a review on this Braums. Right away I noticed the 4 Star rating. That's hilarious! Maybe three years ago. This Braums is by far the worst one I have ever visited. Here's why... Upon entering the place I noticed all the workers were kids. I'm guessing from 17 year olds to about 23 years of age. Ok I'll give the benefit of the doubt to them. I had to explain what plain and dry meant. But ok. I ordered a chicken club combo and a cheese burger combo. So after about a 15 minute wait I got my order. The cheeseburger was plain and dry. The meat patty literally looked like someone took a paper towel and blotted it dry!...LOL. Talk about taking me literally! Now the slice of cheese looked like it was taken out the fridge and slapped right on the patty. Not melted, not like their pics of cheeseburgers on their menu. But slightly room temperature. The fries were very crunchy. Im guessing youngsters were distracted. Such a shame this place is recently renovated but the staff needs improvement on the grill and at the register. Your grill person will make or break this restaurant. I cannot recommend. Such a shame....
Ordered food through the drive through, but I had to go in since my order was wrong and once I went in I was appalled at the extreme lack of cleanliness. Customer service is good but just looking at the counter and back area will, I will definitely not be returning to this particular store. They need to have someone responsible for proper housekeeping.
Like other Braum’s ice cream is good .Cleanliness is 0 to none .Kids working in there are polite but there’s a huge lack for urgency in service , and you can tell there’s no organization on job roles.Dine in if you have time , otherwise go somewhere else if you need a quick turnaround. Avg. waiting time to get service is between 10-15 mins .After all you come here to enjoy some ice cream not for the service . So be patient and don’t get mad at the kids they are doing what they can …
We went there just for ice cream and we were in no hurry to get in and out. Granted this is a ice cream store and you are supposed to come here to enjoy the food and ice cream. We had a Karen in front of us that got too impatient waiting in line for her turn. She yelled at the assistant manager that was working and the assistant manager, who was working the drive through, just smiled and helped the woman. We applaud you assistant manager! We will be back!
They have a fantastic grocery department. You can find fresh fruit and some veggies. They also have frozen foods and meats to cook at home. It's my last minute buy for grocynif I'm running late for something. The restaurant fast food is not 100% healthy but it is delicious! All of it! Haha
I honestly don’t like this place anymore. After working here for almost 2 years I will mention the pay isn’t nearly as good as some places, managers will make employees cross train and put them wherever they feel is convenient regardless of where they want to work (this is company wide) most managers are entirely under-developed in experience. Employee’s will quit a few days to a week after being hired, the learning curve for working here is high, and getting hired isn’t even as convenient as other places, due to any applications being null unless directly sent to the Braum’s website, indeed and other services do not work. Managers will make employee’s stay later than scheduled to scrape off as much work as possible. If you’re hard working expect to pick up a LARGE SUM of slack from every other lazy employee rather than having the managers keep everyone doing what they’re supposed to be doing to the extent they are supposed to be doing it. After learning not all but a good few of the business practices that managers are supposed to follow to ensure a fair, calm, controlled, and flowing workspace; I find that some of these practices are simply ignored in order to save money, depending on which manager is currently working. As for addressing pay to a further extent, expect to make barely above minimum wage if you have little to no work experience, and about average pay after working there for maybe a year and a half and longer. Do what you will with that information. As for addressing how the work flow is designed to work, it’s fairly complicated but not too hard to grasp after about a month or two of working at a Braum’s store. Before the 7212 Hulen St. store was re-modeled it was much more efficient, due to the fact that everything was more compact, and even if every employee was cross trained they were atleast able to do multiple things at once efficiently. Whilst the several million dollar re-model looks nice, it’s not very convenient. Seeing as you now have to walk several long steps to reach another step to making a Sunday or otherwise. I’ve met an area manager, and she is efficient but impossible to please. No complaints about her, she knows how to keep a workplace flowing correctly. Most people just don’t appreciate her enough or realize why she acts and does things the way she does. I’ve also met her boss, who is an un-believably chill guy and probably is living a nice life I guess. He’s cool.
Came in for a couple cartons of ice cream made my selection and stood at checkout counter watching at least 7 employees walking around, some serving other customers at the order counter, some at drive up, laughing and talking to each other. No one acknowledged me in anyway. I stood there for 5 or 6 min with my payment in hand, my ice cream on the counter and not one person seemed to even notice me, much less acknowlwdge me. So i put my money up and walked out. I dont imagine they will notice the ice cream sitting on the counter either.
This is the location at Hulen St and Kingswood in Ft. Worth. Very friendly at the drive thru and patient even though we weren't sure what we wanted at first. There were several cars ahead of us but they kept the line moving nicely and we were out much quicker than I expected.
If I get stuck with chili cheese fries, they should have cheese on them. The cheese and sour cream to go with my bowl of chili must be hanging out with the cheese. It was a to go order. They offered to give me cheese if I drive back. On the bright side the chili is great.
