I realize it was a busy Saturday but iur service was slow and inattentive. The meals all came out at separate times and my order was incorrect and overcooked. When I politely told the server they wanted to argue about the order. I really did expect a manager or someone would come to discuss but; none did. I guess things just aren’t like they used to be. I’ll have to find someplace else for brunch.
Been here several times without issue unfortunately this visit was terrible. We waited in the lobby alone for more than 10 minutes to be seated. During this time wait staff made eye contact and came and left the lobby. Not once were we greeted or acknowledged. When we were finally seated our waitress took our drink order then vanished never to be seen again. After 20 min of sitting there being ignored by the passing staff, we got up to leave. I offered to pay for the drinks but was told not to worry about it. This would have been the optimal time to apologize, offer to take and expedite an order, get a manager, but instead we were just left to go on. It must be nice to have so much business that this type of treatment by staff is acceptable. Although this was a 1 star experience, I gave 3 as I've had better on other visits.
As most everyone when it comes to food I get serious lol. While on my break from work I decided to pick up some breakfast for me and a coworker. I was told 10-15 which really means 30 which didn’t bother me at all. However once the food was received missing items were gone so I had to leave work again to get them. I probably should’ve checked my bag. What I saw was a hostess overworked with little help, doing her best. As someone who has work in food service I understand all these issues are due to management. Please remember be kind to the staff they are typically overworked and underpaid. And don’t get paid enough to deal with grown people yelling at them over eggs. Be kind and the world will be good to you<3 (food was pretty good tho)
I have to say I was pretty impressed. I’ve heard a lot about this place but this past weekend was my first time dining here. My three boys (12,10,and 8) and I decided to go out for breakfast. For the price, I don’t think you can beat this place. If you want super fancy-schmancy gourmet, look elsewhere. Also if you want to pay way too much money for eggs… Look elsewhere. The menu was diverse, the prices were very reasonable, and everything we tried tasted great!The very berry Belgian waffle was a huge success as were the chicken and waffles and the whole hog breakfast skillet. We will most definitely be back, and if you haven’t gone here you should check it out sometime.
Best French toast I have had in a long time! This past week I visited Starwood Cafe for the first time and let's just say I Ioved it so much I went back again the next day. Both times service was great and food was very good! I think I have found my favorite breakfast place in Flower Mound!
Service was great, presentation of the food was perfect and it was delicious. The prices were also great. Will be coming back.
Wondering if they were having an off day or something. I remember coming here a year ago and it was fine but today the eggs were inedible and the rest of the food was just ok. Prices are cheap and they have great service but the food was extremely disappointing.
Our new favorite breakfast spot. Staff is great and food is excellent. Highly recommend.
