The place is very charming, it has the contemporary feeling. They have both indoors and outdoors seating. My best way to describe the food will be modern Mexican/Tex Mex. it's fresh but portions are on the smaller side, so you may want to order an appetizer as well . Their house Margarita is really good, and their complementary salsa (unlike other places) is already mixed in green and red salsa so it has an amazing flavor and kick to it. They have multiple locations, I have been to both this one, and the one in Plano and the service and food is really good on both. They are located in the corner by themself so parking shouldn’t be an issue!

Just left this location for dinner and we were extremely disappointed. The first three margaritas we ordered they were out of ingredients so we had to settle for our 4th option. We were surprised that we didnt get limes with our frozen margaritas and when we mentioned it we were told frozen drinks dont normally come with limes. First time we have ever heard that. The food was shockingly bland. I had the Juanita plate and everything was disappointing. We have never experienced this in probably 10 visits to the Grapevine location. We sat on the patio in these wonderful temps and not a single other table seated. Disappointing that we are just down the road in Lewisville but we need to drive to Grapevine for the food quality we normally expect.

May 11, 2022 @ 4:00 PM first time at the Flower Mound location… Sit at the Bar and ordered an El Hefe (margarita) and the Applewood Smoked Chipotle Beef Fajitas. This combination is one of my favorites at Mi Dias Grapevine and is typically delicious. Today, at the Flower Mound location, I was very disappointed. The drink was ok. The fajitas were a a mess and swimming in grease. More like stewed beef than grilled or seared. Just not good.

We Dined At The Flower Mound MiDia On Sunday, May 1, 2022. The Restaurant Was Still At A Good Pace After The 11-3 Brunch. We Dined Inside Which Is Very Beautiful & Comfortable Booth Seating. Light Crisp Chips & Exceptional Salsa's Are Starters. We Selected The Combo With 4 Items You Select. There Are 2 Different Rice Options, 3 Bean Selections, Chicken, Beef Or Cheese On Any Of The Taco, Enchilada, Chalupa & Red Sauce, Green Chile Sauce, White Sauce & More. We Tried Many Different Combos As This Is Our First Visit For The Lunch Menu. The Possibilities Are Endless, A Fun Creative Menu. Everything Tasted Perfect. The Presentation For All Dishes We Saw Was Well Done. Our Server Was Maria Jose. She Is From Mexico City & A Delight To Visit With. Excellent Service With A Genuine Smile & Heart.

Mi Dia is fantastic. I love the heat in nearly everything they make. They have a solid vegetarian enchiladas dish. I do wish they had more vegetarian options. for example Tacolu in Jacksonville Florida has a wide range of options, some of which are better then their meet focused siblings.the patio space is wonderful. shaded in early evening, they also have some impressive heaters for those chilli FM winter evenings.Staff is great, we will be back.

Standards are slipping at this place! It used to be the best Mexican food in the area, but it seems they're cutting corners these days. My wife and I were there recently and the quesadilla she ordered was swimming in grease. She sent it back, but the next one wasn't much better and she only ate 2 sections of it. She thinks it was because they've started using cheaper cheese, and I agree after biting into a slice.I ordered an 1812 Margarita, which arrived without salt and with what looked like a dehydrated lime slice. I know limes are getting expensive, but it made it completely unappealing and would have been better fresh, if thin. I specifically asked the waiter for salt on the rim, but he forgot and didn't offer to fix it. My beef enchilada and taco were just OK, and lacked the quality of previous meals (again greasy). It's a shame, as we used to bring our out of town friends here for "good Mexican." Unfortunately, we won't be back anytime soon, and will have to find a better restaurant locally now.Update: sent management my contact details, at their request, but never heard a word from them. Window dressing apparently.

Wanted to try a new, to us, restaurant for Valentine Day. We decided on Mi Dia. Arrived a little before 5 without reservations and we were seated right away near the front door. A few minutes later, I over heard the hostess telling people coming in that there was a hour wait. Talk about good timing! Chips and salsa were brought to the table at which time we ordered our margaritas. Once the drinks arrived we were ready to order. Food was very good. I was a little surprised that the tamale was served "naked", meaning no sauce poured over it. That was okay, just mixed it with some of the Ranchero sauce on my enchiladas. Service was very good. We will be back and I highly recommend.

More than the food, the staffs here are very friendly. We had some dietary restrictions and we were not specific about it, our waitress patiently explained about the ingredients and helped picking our drinks and food. I had Baja shrimp tacos. The waitress told me "it's battered is that ok ? " I was ok with that, but later didn't fully enjoy it and thought I should have listened to her note and picked something else ?The drinks are the best !! Try the "Hell Freezes Over" - you will thank me later !!Of course, as mentioned by others, the "Not so table side guacamole" was amazing.

The best curbside pick-up deal in town. Tons of hot delicious food packed extremely well and a great priced family meal deal. They have been consistently excellent throughout the pandemic. Hope their business is still doing well and that their staff are weathering the storm.

Came here on a date with my fiancé tonight. Our server Eric was slammed but still took the time to give us great service. The food was delicious as well. We’ll be visiting again soon.
