Not as good as expected. The good: The restaurant has a latin chic feel and looked very nice. The service was good and our hostess and wait person were very pleasant. Parking was good and prices were on the low side which was agreeable. The bad: The food was unfortunately not good. The salsa was sadly just a tomato slurry with garlic and very flat. The entrees were bland, dry with little flavor. Overall, the restaurant atmosphere and the wait staff were very good but the food quality and flavors were not there. We will return sometime though and give them another try.
No service. Sat at bar and never got a server. Asked to be seated and we were given menus. Never saw a server. Manager walked by twice.This location sucks.
I had dinner on Valentine’s Day at this restaurant. We were seated promptly and the waitress came to our table promptly as well. Our food was served hot and was delicious. My brother likes to “special order” but they were very accommodating and his meal arrived exactly as he ordered it! The food and the service were both excellent. We will definitely return.

Excellent food and great customer service. I had the Shrimp Brochette! The drinks, chips and salsa and other appetizers are delicious! Would highly recommend this place. One of the better Mexican restaurants in the DFW area!
Excellent location to eat and dine with the company of others. I admire the workers and their commitment to showing amazing customer service as well as the preparation of the food that is provided at the restaurant being of high quality. I recommend this Mi Cocina to anyone who desires to eat.
We recently had dinner at Mi Cocina in Flower Mound. We had a group of five and were there around 5:00 or 5:30. We were seated immediately and a waiter came to our table almost as soon as we were seated. Our food was all delicious and the service was great!
Had a great dinner here with a friend for my birthday. Our server Martin was super attentive, the atmosphere was great, and our tacos were delicious. We would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nice night out with friends or a date.
Mi Cocina is a great place to get good Mexican food and an awesome margarita. The only issue with this location is the margarita is never full when you receive it. Mambo Taxi in particular. We were there twice recently and encountered this issue both visits. The other locations the margarita glass is always full. With the prices they charge for their margaritas it could at least be a full one.
Margarita and Jalapeño Margarita on the rocks were good!Food was delicious too! Their lunch chimichanga was smaller but very filling with everything else on the plate.
