Our first time and really a good place to eat for the amount you spend. I gave it 4 stars because the service was a bit slow. They had one waiter taking care of most all of the tables there. I would definitely eat there again and just hope the wait staff was a scheduled a little better. Overall a good experience.

My spouse and I had a wonderful dinner here. The service was friendly, fast and attentive. I had combo fajitas which had excellent flavor. My spouse had the Enchiladas Verdes, and loved them! A family owned place, and all in all a wonderful experience.
Family owned, family recipes. Absolutely delicious food. Friendly, welcoming service and nice atmosphere.A good test of Mexican food is how much care goes into the basics of rice and beans. Too often, rice and beans are thoughtless fillers at Tex Mex and even self-proclaimed Mexican restaurants. Alma's clearly cares about each item they put on a plate and takes time to make every serving delicious. I would be happy with just a plate of their rice and beans for a meal.Enchiladas are authentic and the ranchera sauce is spot on. I try mole whenever it is on a menu and Alma's is quite nice with wonderful sesame flavor.We look forward to returning and trying out other parts of the menu. Alma's is a promising addition to dining in Flower Mound.
The food was very authentic and absolutely delicious! They have freshly made tortillas too! The avocado firecrackers were SO good! Chris was the best server giving us great suggestions and good customer service. We will definitely come back.

We visited Alma’s for the third time this evening. We did a large to-go order for 7 people. Everyone ordered something different. The food was hot and perfectly prepared. The owners work hard and have a high standard of excellence. Alma’s is the real deal!
They don't have margaritas or any adult drinks! Beef fajitas were very fatty and chewy! I also had chicken with my fajitas which were average at best. The food was expensive and there are way better Mexican restaurants in the area for the same if not cheaper prices.
One of if not the best Mexican restaurants in DFW. Small location with only 10 tables. No alcohol. Food was hot and fresh and amazing. Had a Streak burrito and the rice and beans were delicious.
