We came to this restaurant quite often because we love their foods and great services BUT something different today ? different kind of musics from kitchen are very loud, we sat in main dining area lose hearing of relaxing music that usually opens in the main dining area. This message for restaurant owner/managers that coordinate musics in all areas of your restaurant is much appreciated ?
I used to really love this place. Today I called in to place an order to go for lunch. I said I wanted a lunch portion of the Basil Fried Rice and the call went like it normally does with no issues. Once I arrived to pick it up the cashier said my total was $19.00. I then let him know I ordered the lunch portion. He said they no longer do the lunch portion and that they had raised their prices. Nobody told me that on the phone while I was ordering. I didn’t even order it with any kind of meat. $19.00 is way too much for any kind of fried rice ever. It didn’t even taste like it normally does. $19.00 for fried rice? Nah, I ain’t doing it. If I could rate this place on a scale of 1-10 10 being being excellent 1 not great at all I’d give them a 0 being nah this place is trash & I won’t be coming back.
It was delicious!!! We got the Peanut Sauce (#83) and the Tom kha soup (cant remember the number), and it was so good. When we ordered we hadn’t realized how big the portions would be, so we had plenary of leftovers. The salad and egg rolls for appetizers were so good and the sauce/ dressing that came with it was perfect! I also got the Thai tea, which was a bit sweet for my taste but the waiter kindly added more tea to it to make it less sweet when I asked. There is a slight fishy smell when you first walk in, but don’t let that deter you! Definitely the best food I’ve had in a while. 10/10!
Worst food.. saw good ratings on uber eats and totally disappointed! Such a waste of money. Medium spice is too bland and overall food was not great and nothing was tasty. Yellow curry fried rice was poorly done. Panang curry was full of peas .. nope not going again
Service is good and courteous. But the served drink was made with spoilt milk, and the curry was left over from previous days, salted over. Walked out of the place with diarrhea, bountiful gas and intense stomach pain. Will not return. Do not recommend this restaurant at all. Be Aware and Beware.
Ordered Pad Thai to go. Got home and there’s no peanuts no egg no nothing. I called and they had terrible customer service. I don’t mind paying $13 for a plate. But I don’t like it when I find out half the things in my plate are missing. It was my first time here and won’t be coming back. If you order to go make sure to check your plate before leaving. What a waste!
Absolutely fantastic! I always pass this place when I'm driving and finally decided to give it a try today, Sunday lunchtime. I ordered the Thai Spring Rolls (chicken), the Tom Kha Soup (chicken) and the Papaya Salad (thai style). My sister order the Pad Kee Maw (fried tofu) and the Pho (chicken). Everything tasted like it was fresh. It was delicious. I got spice level 2 on my soup and salad and it was just enough, not too over bearing. My sister got spice level 3 on her drunken noodles and I ate some and it was a bit too hot for me...not unbearable, but pretty spicy so if you're worried about that, go down a level even if you like it spicy. The only critique I would say is on the Papaya salad, it is a bit salty and fishy, probably because of the fish sauce and the little tiny shrimps they mix in. It tasted amazing and fresh, the flavors are incredible, but I think next time I may ask them to leave off the little shrimps. The Thai beer (Singha?) was really good too! Will definitely be returning. If you like authentic and fresh food this is a great Thai place to eat!
Good portions my wife said the squid was not up to par and sauce should have been thicker were charged more for using credit card
The Thai tea was delicious. The 1-level spicy for the panang curry was still too hot for me so I ended up just eating the Tom ca soup which was pretty good. The coconut ice cream wasn’t creamy or was really icy which I didn’t like much. Service was great.
Thai Papaya has been a staple in the area well before the explosion of Thai food popularity. They have catered to vegetarian and vegan diets when there doors opened many years ago. And they do a vegan buffet on Sundays that is tasty. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
