Was referred by a friend. Drove from Ft. Worth to pick up dinner for a family of 6. The portions are all kid's sizes. I understand the cost of everything has gone up but does it also mean the quantity has dropped?Beyond disappointed. We ended up having to cook because the portions were so small it wasn't enough to feed everyone. I've eaten at many restaurants and this place beats them all on the portion size. Not sure why there are so many rave reviews.
Amazing home cooked food from the heart by a lovely grandma. Authentic Laotian Thai food. The som tum was impeccable, rice was crispy and juicy at the same time and we haven’t had chicken tasting this superb since pre-Covid when we were on the streets of Thailand. Very old school traditional and we got our food order without a menu, just went with whatever she was able to whip up! We had a very enjoyable time and the best meals. Also bought a bunch of groceries from the mom and pop grocery store. Not sure if she’s able to communicate in English but if you speak Thai/Laotian, you’re in for a delight.
They have both a restaurant and a grocery in the same place. It is small but has some good food. The decoration of this place gives me the feeling of having Thai food back in Thailand. It is sort of self service, you order food, get your own paper plates, if you want to share. You have to get your own drink or dessert from the fridge. I like papaya salad and pork ribs. It is spicy but good. The grocery side had some Thai products and fresh produce. They don't have much of a selection though.
Absolutely delicious dinner experience. Restaurant is small local shop, super friendly atmosphere, lovely welcoming staff and food is authentic and made with great pride. You tell they put all their heart and effort into preparing you a perfect dinner and making sure you are happy. I loved the kariokee and cultural Asian music. I appreciated the warm welcome and lovely smiles. Definitely a great experience and a wonderful place to recommend.
If you want authentic Laotian food make a stop here, you won't regret it. Everything on the menu is good. It's not only a restaurant but also a market with fresh produce. Perfect place to get Asian ingredients here. The owners are very pleasant and caring. Support small businesses.
Thai / laos food here. Pad kee mow, deep fried pork ribs, panang curry were all very good. Great prices too.
We had a Saturday lunch here and ordered Khao Piak Sen (noodle soup), Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, and Chicken Wings. The soup, pad thai, and pad see ew were really good.Small place with only 5 tables, but it is called a market after all. I believe the guy behind the counter is the owner and chef. He also brought out the food as it seemed he was the only one operating the restaurant side on our visit. But, he was quick and friendly. The place was opened in 2020.
Absolutely fantastic food by my standard and trust me I’m Thai and I cook as well. You won’t be disappointed if you are looking for authentic street Thai food.
first time here, awesome food. very friendly owners - they helped us order. will be back very soon !
Customer service is excellent! Food is great and is cooked to perfection. The variety of seasonings and herbs ? on the dishes enhance the experience. Small business operated by owner who cares. And it shows ???
