I have been coming here for years and it’s hands down my favorite place for sushi and sashimi. The staff is consistently attentive and friendly, but the real star is the food. Generous cuts of always fresh fish. They have some great combinations and always a wonderful presentation.You might be suspect of a sushi place in a strip mall in Euless, but you CAN’T go wrong here. There is no way they would have lasted as long as they have without delivering a top notch product consistently year over year.Best bang for the buck in the area.
Great food, the lemonade smoothie with fresh mint was out of this world. Chicken shawarma was very tender, not dry at all. Best Mediterranean food in the area. Our server Sam was very very good, had great menu suggestions, and even had a special treat for us since it was our first time at the restaurant.
Awesome place. This place is where my wife and I went on our first date and 15yrs later, we still enjoy going back. Brings back so many great memories. Sushi is on point, service is amazing, staff and cooks are great. Highly recommend this place.
I have to admit it was a quick seat for my party of 6. Unfortunately we waited for our sushi and didn’t get it until we were all finished with our other food. The waitress took my nephews plate of food that he was still eating up before he was finished. Just a little discouraged maybe it was a rough night. The manager was very kind and apologetic. I’ll give 3 stars and maybe next time it’ll be a better experience.
My partner and I have had such wonderful experiences on the regular, sit-down side of the restaurant (especially the price and taste of the sushi) but decided to give the hibachi side a try for Valentine’s! We didn’t have a reservation so we were told the wait was an hour, but they would call us if anything was available sooner (and they did call, the wait was only about 20 min). The food was delicious, our chef was funny. At the end of the night, the waitress gave each couple a rose. Such wonderful customer service and great food!
Very enjoyable experience. The restaurant was very nice and well kept. Our chef did a great job and I even noticed him slicing off a bruised piece of onion and throwing it away instead of cooking it with the rest of the food. This was a small gesture that made a great impression. Servers were super kind and checked in regularly. I loved the overall vibe and the food was wonderful
Lava Grill is my favorite place to go for sushi! I've been going here for a year now. The restaurant is about 30min away from my house but I drive it each month just to enjoy sushi here. Highly recommend. The Santa Monica roll is fantastic if you like sushi without rice. Their fresh salmon sashimi is top of the line and you really get your money's worth.
My favorite restaurant in the area! This place has been my go-to for many years and I don't think I've ever had a bad experience here. You'll most likely enjoy whatever food you order, but I highly recommend the fuji fried mushrooms, edamame, avocado sushi, miso soup, and fried rice. You get fairly large portions for a reasonable price.
Delicious and healthy dinner. Shrimp dinner, steak tenderloin kabobs. Sam was a fabulous waiter. Very attentive and did not make us feel rush. Definitely will come back for dinner again very soon.
Excellent- ever since my wife and I worked for American Airlines/SABRE back in 1995 to 2005 this place's food was amazing. They had some amazing Renovations. I mean upscale. We tried the fried Oysters, Wings. My wife always gets the Bento Box. I love the servers. We laughed, had wine. Gave her a $20 tip. It wasn't very busy. Watching Sports. This was a month ago. We are going for lunch tomorrow (1/23) Parking is tight when they are busy. Please bring your date or side piece or wife. All would love it. I can't remember the Servers name- Cheers.
