This is my second time here. The first time is when they first opened the food was too salty. I couldn't eat it at all. Now my second time here. I waited over 20 minutes for catfish. Employee kept adding minutes to it as I sat there waiting. Just disappointed because it's lunch time food and service should be prepared faster
Ordered the Nashville hot. The chicken was like a hockey puck, which suggests it was hours old. My "larger bun" was squished and burnt at the end. The puck was dry and even the tea tasted old. Mashed spuds were mid at best. I didn't want to be a Karen and ask for my money back. Will never return.You know who has a good chik sando? Buffalo wild wings.
The catfish had a good taste. The size of filets was surprising. They used to look like the pictures on their menu boards at the drive thru...now about half the size.Coleslaw needs to be served on side...not under HOT roll and next to HOT fish...ends up warm and in TEMPERATURE DANGER ZONE for food safety. I threw it away.
Chicken here is always great. I know once in awhile the drive in can get slow but that is because they got real busy and when that happens I dont mind at all because the food I get is fresh out of the oven and tastes even better.
We just went at 9:20pm to order food , and the employees said they aren’t taking anymore orders & that they were cleaning. Does golden chick close at 10pm? Or just when the employees feel like closing? I’m just a little confused…

First time visiting any Golden Chick. I have to say it’s now going to be one of my favorite chicken spots. Crispy chicken indeed.
Beyond amazing! My family and I have been eating here a lot lately and all the locations we’ve visited or ordered food from has been beyond amazing! I really don’t understand how or why ppl are giving such terrible reviews. This place is definitely top of the list as far as fast food is concerned.
I had the catfish and shrimp combo. It was very good. Fresh, crispy and tasted good. I will do it again especially during Lent.
The shrimp were small, but nine shrimp made a delicious meal. The dining room was not crowded and the complimentary ice cream cone was a nice touch.
