Hannah our waitress was soft spoken and. Shy. We learned that it was her first day on the job...she was very curious and professional in her performance. ..excellent job young lady. The waitress was too busy counting her money to even acknowledge me coming in and telling me there was a twenty minute way because they only had one server and one cook on duty. She didn't even turn around and whem a girl came up to get her take out, she couldn't be bothered until she was finished counting her money. Did I fail to mention the two junkies with their luggage stowed away in the front entry while they say on the curb looking pathetic?
I walked in at 1222a. The Music from the kitchen is blaring loud which is cool. I get it. It’s 3rd shift and you want to stay awake. No one took my order until 1234a. I was ready and waiting. A guy comes in for a pick up and she just says “if it’s over there it’s good” what’s that even mean? My guy was searching through 3 different orders to find his pick up. She finally gets back to me and takes my order. As I’m sitting at the bar a guy completely walks in off the street and directly into the kitchen. Street clothes, no hand washing or anything and starts telling the cook, “I’ll eat it”. In reference to my order that was messed up before it left the kitchen. I heard the waitress say “ Pat, did you even read the ticket. He had such and such”. I’m not even sure how this place is still open and operational. I’ve been coming here since August ‘21 when I moved to Texas. I’m writing this in real time while my food sits in front of me because I’ve been waiting on my bacon and syrup for the last 5/6 minutes.
We were seated right away. There were no other customers when we arrived(2:20pm) and our drinks were served in a timely manner. However, our food took an hour(3:32pm). I could understand if they were slammed and we had a big order but we each got eggs with pancakes and as I previously said, there were no other customers when we ordered. When we got our food, it was heavily covered in butter. There were puddles of butter on my eggs. The pancakes weren't the best and it's sad how far down the hill Dennys has gone.

Dorothy was about to give me an anxiety attack. She was literally all over the place. Conversations were had that should’ve been behind closed doors. The service was very slow. Immediately and my husband waited 45 mins for a steak and pancakes. They were out of most sides. Could only offer corn and potatoes. For first timers it was entertaining to say the least.
I should of read some of the reviews before we went in there. It was six of us and we were the only ones, worst experience, the server acknowledged us took our drink order. But then it was all down hill I felt like our drinks sat on the counter for a while because when they got to the table my ice was mostly melted and the coffees were cold, we ordered and basically got appetizers as antres and one kids pancakes and an adult French toast, it took more than 45mins for the food to come out and everything was cold, the French toast seemed like it was reheated and the nachos had no cheese or meat, the Buffalo wings were only coated on one side with a little but of sauce and over salted, the mozzarella cheese sticks were so cold the breading was just flaking off and the cheese was hard. We never even get a refill on any of our drinks. Management needs to work on this place and get better service going.
Slow as ever no people yet they took forever to get out our food. The waitress was nice but omg the kids got frustrated waiting for their meal so we had fussy kids. The waitress was nice to bring the youngest some snacks.
Mr. D was by far the best waiter I have ever had period point blank. Very courteous, our order was in time, and spot on! Wonderful top of the line server, coming from 3 women who have been waitress for many years!
Despite the shortage and you had to wait a little bit to get your food the atmosphere of the cashier was amazing. They had a shortage of workers but they did everything to accommodate you and make you feel comfortable and I thank you so much for that. Thanks job well done!
