Jazlin, our server was Amazing! Our son couldn't decide on the shrimp and scallops or the blackened salmon because of the ancient power grains. Honestly, we didn't know what it was. We thought they were grits. But another table had ordered the scallops and shrimp and she was kind enough to take a picture and show him. He went with the salmon that had the same ancient power grains, and that had to be the best salmon we had. My hubby and I had the fish taco platters and the spiked strawberry lemonade. For dessert we ordered the carrot cake which was delicious ?. Everything was great ??! Jazlin gave great suggestions and was very patient and helpful. If we do come back to Texas, it's definitely a stop we are going to make again.
really quirky inside. it was pretty empty during my trip (Monday around 1 pm). friendly staff all around! there is a lot to take in when you're seated. the walls are full of knickknacks! bathroom has this really cool soap / water / dryer 3 in 1 thing. that is definitely my favorite part. probably will return

We LOVE the food and we love the atmosphere in the bar area but the service is terrible. The bartender is expected to make all the drinks AND be the server. They definitely need a designated server for the bar area. (one that is not trying to also mix all the drinks)
Ten minutes after being seated we were finally able to order our drinks, the beer was hot before I got it. Minutes later we ordered our food, 20 minutes later they brought out the wrong order, another 20 minute wait to get it corrected we were finally served dinner. It only took an hour to get dinner, we saw our waitress 3 or 4 times during this. once to order, one drink refill & to get the check. Other staff members handled the service. Worst dining experience I can remember. Ruined our wedding anniversary date night. Never again.
Bethany was a fantastic waiter. She made sure we got exactly what we wanted. The food was excellent.
