I’ve read the reviews and I must say, first and foremost there are no flies at this location. It’s clean, the staff is nice, and professional. Didn’t see any “grab-ass” going down. Our server, Lynette, was awesome. She was handling about 5 tables at the same time. Wrote down everything, says a lot about the quality of service she wants to produce. The food tasted great. Other than the coffee being more on the stronger side I’ve got nothing bad to say about my experience.
So disappointed used to be my FAV … the whole restaurant was waiting for food bc they got a large table. Doesn’t seem right that the whole restaurant WHOLE restaurant would have to stop producing we waited more than an hour, ended up leaving never saw food lol they wouldn’t even comp our drinks —- left to Denny’s
I’m not out to bash anyone or any business! However we have noticing that the quality is not the same! I understand that they are in a transition period from Village Inn to Buttersmith but the customers should not have to put up with the lack of quality. It’s was not even close to what I remember from just a few months ago. I’m not going to go into specifics because it’s too much to share! Family of five and not one meal was satisfactory! Hopefully it changes! In the meantime we won’t be going back. Maybe when Buttersmith fully takes over..
I highly recommend this place whether you want to come with family, friends, couple or even by yourself. Waiting was less than 5 -10 min. Server was very attentive and polite, kept checking up on us to see if everything was fine (Kimberly) . Food was warm very delicious and good portion amount (thank you cooks) and let's not forget about the pies to many to choose from ordered Southern pecan with a scoop of ice cream and it was yummilicious . Also the manager kept walking around checking to see if everything was fine. Give it a try n don't pay attention to all the negative reviews. P S. Please tip your servers.
Still a great place to hang out and enjoy great food. Very clean and great customer service.
Had to edit my first review of village inn. Male wait staff to busy chasing the hostess around. Had to stop the waiter for refills, desert etc. Food has gone down. Size and taste is lacking.
My boyfriend and I were happy to find a restaurant near by our neighbourhood and visited here the first time.Waiter Dane was very polite she provided a good service. However, silverware was disgusting. The glass of water was dirty as well so I didn’t want to drink anything else anymore. And to make things worse, there was hairs in our plates and hash browns. Even though they offered for new ones I just couldn’t keep eating them. I completely lost my appetite.Such a waste of my time. I’m not going there ever again.
Good breakfast and the Service was ok, there was a lot of people, but the management is good we only waited around 7 mins
Everything was very good ,but for the butter I do say it's a little over salty ,sins the pancakes do have some salt due to butter or the way they make them, makes it all together a little salty, the syrup added brings it down wich is good maybe just changed the butter or less salted butter and overall Everything was very good ,recommend the scramble eggs
Their manager, Lou, is great. He was patient and kind with another table of elderly men. He leads his team very well. The wait stand follows his example and they are an exceptional bunch. Food was fantastic (as always) and waiter, Luke , was attentive and friendly. Great place for a bite to eat.
