Had brunch here with my Dad while visiting from out of town and eventhough they were pretty busy they had good food and great service!Pictured is the side salad with Italian dressing. Not pictured was my turkey bacon avocado melt which was good!I forgot what my dad ordered but he was happily stuffed with a clean plate! ?

Half of my meal was over cooked... Partly burnt... The servers were not attentive at all... I literally had to ask for a refill... My server never came back after that... A couple of ladies that came in after me had to go and ask if they could order... For the price of the meals now you would assume you would get better service... This was not the case at all... The hostess / manager even had the audacity to ask if I wanted to leave a tip on my card... I left 15% on the table... I worked food service for almost six years at a military country club... You think serving tables is hard... Try serving twelve and twenty tops on a regular... Table tops that is... There is always a smart Guy ?. Everyone should tip because it's the right thing to do...

Village Inn is a great diner. They deliver what you expect, which is no thrills, good comfort food, diner food.Restaurant was clean and service was friendly. I had the Strawberry Crepes with a side of English Muffin. Hearty, tasty, and very satisfying. This is our go-to spot before heading to the airport.

We went there for breakfast today. The place is very popular and filled up right after we got there at 8am. After some wait we managed to get the attention of a waiter. She took our full order before bathering to bring our beverages. After a long time I got the old stale cold coffee they replaced with fresh and hot coffee.. our food took forever and only when we complained about the wait did we get right away. It was stone cold. They comped us the coffees and I did not tip at all, something I have never done before. Go to Denny’s across the street !

Loved it! Great food and outstanding service. Very clean, friendly, and the price was reasonable. A breakfast must!

Village Inn is always a good place for breakfast. I had the ultimate skillet and it was quite good. The service was fast and attentive. Recommended.

Always good service. I like the coffee from here. Ultimate skillet and chicken fry steak are delicious. Always quick service even if is busy.

I only called to place an order for carryout. They told me it would take 10 to 15 minutes. I waited a total of 25 minutes. Service was very slow even though there was only one customer inside the restaurant at the time I showed up to pick up the food.I ordered the chicken fried steak skillet and the eggs were burned (see picture). I also substituted the pancakes for more scrambled eggs but I only received the regular portion of eggs that come with the skillet.

The atmosphere of this little cafe was perfect for what we were looking for. Something that was small and not packed. It is fairly close to the Fisherman's Wharf so I naturally was concerned that it would be crowded. It was not.I would recommend this spot for breakfast to anyone staying in the area.

They had flavored creamers and didn't offer me any with my coffee. I then burn my tongue and didn't see my server since the last time she checked on me for more water and to top it off, I spill coffee on me and I have to clean it up. I don't see why I should tip or return to that restaurant.
