Really bad experience ordered strawberry crepes and they were made wrong, so I let them know and then I got a burger instead asked for the meat well done, and when I got it it wasn't even cooked from the inside it was still bloody really nasty! So I talked to the manager and she said she was sorry and that if I wanted something else, but I had lost my appetite after the two thingsade wrong. So the manager said I could go back and get a remake but I don't even want to go anymore.
Apparently I was doing an online order with doordash and didn't know it. I thought it was the Village inn site but they had nothing. I was charged 50.63 by Village inn and they refused to give me my food. They said since I didn't have a paper receipt or a screen shot I was not do anything. This was all after I showed them the charge on my bank. Staff was very rude about it. So much for eating there again. Tomorrow I go to corporate office.
I love Village Inn. Food is always spot on. All servers and the mgr have great attitudes. I always feel welcome when i come here. Also i am so happy this location is staying a Village inn. Thank you for listening to your customers.
Manager Guy on duty is very nice and courteous.Not sure what happened to the night manager guy but been there a few times since this review (February 2022)and the guy manager is not there. He use to be attentive and friendly and helpfull with his staff. Now we go and new manager is always sitting in back corner table joking with staff between customers or on her phone. Won't check on customers at all.
The servers here are always really nice. I like to go on weekends with my daughter and they’re always super friendly. As far as chain restaurants go, I’ve always had good experiences with the food. They’re always very busy on weekend mornings, as well, so they handle their business very smoothly. This is definitely one of “the good Village Inns”.
You can't go wrong here, you just can't. This is what Denny's used to be. They serve great comfort food and some local favorites too. The Pies are amazing! You gotta have pie!
Great place to eat anything throughout the day, whether it's breakfast/lunch or dinner. I have always enjoyed it here..Add a slice of pie, best in the city.
Had a really good waiter that even though he had several tables to cover, he did not miss a beat. In addition I noticed that the wait service bussed their own tables. Service by this young man gets an A from us.
Village in is an all-time favorite of mine. They stay open very late and their waiters are extremely careful to please even the most complicated of customers. Their super flexible menus are the reason why this place is preferred by older people. However, the food is good no matter what age you are. If you are leaving a party late, and feel like you need something in your stomach, go there. If you are looking for something sweet, go there.My personal recommendation for a dissert is the strawberry crepes with an extra scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and some caramel. ? Food was really good, but the service was horrible, That and the creppes served in the same plate with all the breakfast was not good, all the hashbrowns were soaked in the strawberry jam.
