I have no idea what Camila is talking about. I’ve had UG many times. They definitely don’t use ground beef for their gyros. It’s a beef+lamb blend that tastes like a beef lamb and not ground meat.Always enjoy the food there. Staff is always helpful!! Good eats on the east side! Hope they expand!
.ALL THE SAUCES ARE MADE OF MAYO ...I AM NOT INTO MAYO SO I GOT THE CUCUMBER YOGURT SAUCE SINCE THEY DONT HAVE TAHINI OR ANY OTHER OPTIONS.ITS NOT MANY DIFFERENT INGREDIENTS BUT THEY GIVE YOU ENUF FOOD FOR WHAT YOU ORDER AT LEAST . The shrimp is some orange color sauce .the shrimp is good if u get that . You get more food here at urban gyros compared to zinos . I had the falafel pita . You get 4 falafels on the pita here at urban while at zinos then they give you 2 .you can ask for kalamata olives . It's fresh food but needs more ingredients . I'm not impressed with urban because ;I COME TO GET A FALAFEL GYRO THATS HOT AND WRAPPED IN ALUMINUM FOIL BURRITO STYLE THE WAY IT SHOULD BE! ! IF I WANTED SALAD ON TOP OF A PITA THEN I CAN EASILY DO THAT AT HOME.
the food was delicious I now know what it is and like falafel! The staff is very friendly. A great place to eat, yummy and clean. One of my new vegan favorites!!
Staff is friendly and helpful. Service is fast. Walk-up counter service. Bowls are filled with enough food for 1.5 persons!All the meats of the combo bowl were well cooked--tender or crispy where needed. Veggies were fresh. Pita was soft and chewy.There's a crepe place sharing the space around the wall with just as well-made crepes. Carb overload though. Still working it off several months later.
Definitely recommend the beef gyro. Very big portions with a lot of protein. I had to use a fork to eat what was falling out of my gyro. I asked for extra tzatziki sauce but I did not have to use it. Two thumbs up.
Had a great experience, we were offered to try some falafels. Food was amazing, will definitely be going back
This place is AMAZING!! I've always seen it on my way home but I hadn't stopped to try it until now, and I'm so happy I did!! I had a Chicken Pita Gyro from here and the flavor was so great! The sauces were so delicious, and the chicken was tender and flavorful, I absolutely loved it!! I will be back for sure, the price was good and the food was very filling, time to support local rather than having Chipotle for post-workout meals, this is my new go-to!! ???
Went for lunch today the gyros were very good and they are a good size. Will go back again would recommend ??
It’s not often in El Paso you find good, hot, fresh food. This place is awesome the beef and lamb very seasoned and tender. Only complaint is the bag lettuce has this taste I do not like. (Rinse and Dry) other than that I love love this place. I definitely will be back ♥️
If you never had a Gyro, there is no better place. My wife and I always get the Original Gyro, layered with there red, white and green sauces….DELICIOUS and just to add to deliciousness we split some Loaded Urban Fries. We always leave content with the food and service. So if you never have tried Urban Gyros, you will be pleasantly surprised.
