This place is so good! I ordered the steak lunchbox and two rolls and everything was delicious. I have food for at least two days because the portions are large. Def going back!
This is my favorite sushi place in the Northeast. Normally, I order the poke bowl and today wasn't great at all. The crab, to me, smelled spolied, it was pungent, I just discarded that part. The sushi rice was hard. I don't get it, it was just awful today. The Itamae, well I wouldn't say that, he wasn't skilled at all, was not good. I was so disappointed given that this is my favorite sushi place. What happened to the owner and son? They care about what's being put out there. I won't be returning for a while. Thank you.
This place has really good sushi overall, the reason I'm giving it a three-star rating because they rarely answer their phone so it's hard and inconvenient to place an order for pickup so I end up driving to the restaurant to place an order there and now it's causing me to wait even longer and sometimes it's really dead so I'm wondering why they didn't answer their phone. That's my only complaint otherwise the food is great. Thank you.
The service, ambiance, and food were exactly what we were looking for. They accommodated my vegetarian preferences by making me the most amazing teriyaki tofu and vegetable sushi. They even make their own homemade teriyaki (aka eel) sauce. Wish we knew how good this place was before now. We live down the street and will be back for sure.
We order from this place a lot since it’s close to where we live and it creates such convenience! Food is always delicious, and super friendly staff.
2nd time to eat here. I ordered the same thing...miso soup, fried rice, and the rainbow roll. It was very good again. I also tried a piece of eel for the first time and it was delicious. Add a little Wasabi to the fried rice to give it a little kick and it did not disappoint. I will return again and again to eat here. Maybe next time I will try a different sushi roll.
Order since the place had great reviews and it’s only 5 min away from my house. It was “OK”, but the sushi had very little crabmeat and lots of cream cheese. In my opinion Hamachi has the best sushi in El Paso!!!
First time. Been meaning to stop. Really really decent food. No hard or turned fish sushi. Fresh and tasty. Definitely coming back. Friendly staff.
My 9 year old loves sushi.So when we went to get his hair cut we drove by Tsunami and were very curious as there aren’t many sushi places in the northeast. So we went one day and were so pleasantly surprised at how nice and clean it is. The waitress customer service was fantastic. And the sushi quality and selection was AMAZING! So yummy! And every time after has been such a great experience and a wonderful meal. We get so full! Our favorite rolls are the El Paso roll and the South Padre Roll. The classic California roll is so great too! We love Tsunami Sushi.
So in love with this place! Innovative food. I recommend the spicy beef udon and crunchy shrimp roll .
