The shredded beef gorditas plate with rice and beans is an absolute dream. The ladies there are always the nicest and most helpful. Thank you for making my meal so delicious and I will definitely be back before I leave town.

Great service, great food. The food is amazing!!! It has that homemade flavor and the portions are big!! Very well served plates and the menudo is one of the best I have tasted. Overall a great place to eat!!
The Lunch Box is always satisfying that before you go, you want to make sure you have built up a good appetite! The restaurant on Carolina has a much different vibe than on Buckner. While the staff is kind and sweet in the same manner, the dining room ambiance is different. I always recommend the tacos or the gorditas and ask for the salsa rojo!
I am very sad and disappointed with the lunch box on Carolina.. I had ordered red enchiladas with extra lettuce tomato and onions this is what I got it was like somebody left their food and just gave it to me.. when I went in and reported it the manager gave me my money back and said we were not welcome there anymore. I've been eating theirs for years and because I complain that they didn't do the food right they told us not to come back this is very sad. I've never seen this manager before she's a heavy set woman I think she's new maybe that's what's making the place not what it used to be... Like I said I've been coming here for years never seen that lady before very sad that she's very unprofessional no customer service.
I remembered this place to have alot tastier food. I ordered a breakfast plate and it was lacking flavor. I may have ordered the wrong items. Came in from Dallas and wanted to enjoy some good local food from my past. Will give it another try in the future but won't be ordering the same item.

Great place , gets packed so get there early. Waitress was a little too pushy to hurry up and order. Chicken soup is great. Breakfast was 2 eggs, 2 bacon , hashbrowns and beans..not to fond of the beans that day.
I only had a burrito but it was delicious. My friend took home some tortillas they make fresh. The staff is very friendly and fast. The restaurant is very clean and the admisphere is very nice.
Food is delicious ?. Service is great, definitely recommend this restaurant for good, authentic Mexican food. Overall, great place to relax and enjoy conversation with family and friends!
