We were so excited to order from here tonight after reading all the reviews, but unfortunately our meal was beyond awful. I ordered the chicken parmesan which the menu states is served with spaghetti—I received spaghetti that was smothered in meat sauce. I’m unable to eat beef and pork and had the menu said meat sauce on there I would have ordered it with just marinara. The breading on my chicken was so horribly salty that it rendered it completely inedible. My friend ordered the spaghetti with mushrooms and meat sauce—he said the mushrooms tasted like they were dumped into the sauce straight from a can. They clearly were not fresh and lacked flavor. Even the garlic bread was flavorless. The only thing that was done well was my son’s simple spaghetti with meat sauce. We’re very disappointed that we spent $50 (after tip) on a meal that was completely inedible. We certainly will not be back.

Service was great. Nice atmosphere. Food was also great! I would recommend it to everyone.

Enjoy every meal we have ever ordered! The staff are like family. It gets busy, but they are always professional and try their best to accommodate all customers alike. Best Italian food in El Paso and the prices are fare! Got to try it!

The Italian Kitchen is one of those iconic establishments that you must try for authentic Italian cuisine. Nestled deep in the Five Points Area, it's a place you should go to get a hearty, wholesome meal. The atmosphere is rustic and very cozy, but it is a warm and inviting place. I used to love coming here in the past, but parking was really difficult and was sad if I could not eat here. I am grateful that they fixed the parking situation and was able to eat here once again. I went for their classic Meatball Spaghetti with the meat sauce. I also opted for their House Italian salad that accompanies this meal. All in all, it was delicious faire and I recommend you come and try it out before hitting up a run of the mill Italian restaurant where you can go to any city and eat there. I strongly suggest that you go during an off hour so that you will be taken care of by the amazing staff!

Came by for some lunch and found the place really hopping. Food and service was great! Met the owner Santiago Alonzo III. He's a very personable guy and a great fit to this long standing establishment.

Dirty restaurant, crappy service and the food was terrible. Had the Chicken Parmigiana, and I am pretty sure it was frozen. I will never eat here again.

food is delicious highly recommend

The place was packed. It took about 45 minutes to get our main entre but it was worth the wait! The bread was freshly made... soft, buttery, garlic. I had angel hair pasta with alfredo and shrimp. I could tell the alfredo sauce was made with fresh cream. My wife had the spaghetti and the sauce was delicious! We'll be back for sure!

I was on the job with Favor and had accepted an order for The Italian Kitchen around 5:00 p.m. Just my luck "traffic hour" but i was not worried up until the point where I attempted to contact The Italian Kitchen. I could not get a hold of anyone via phone. I did mot email them because in my opinion it is always best to know who your speaking with and email is just not it. Once i arrived and placed my order (6:23) since their phone was not working it took approximately 35 minutes to receive the customers order. I was offered water once and reassured numerous times but i stand by my rating. But to each their own and don't knock it till you try it people because everyone's experience is always different Bon appetite. Did I mention it was valentines day

Real, authentic, italian food. Food.takes its time, but it is absolutely worth it.
