I ordered their Kimchi pork belly and it was super good, amazing taste and loved the crunch of the kimchi! Along with their iced Plum Green Tea, a wonder sweet refreshing drink that paired perfectly with my food. I highly recommend you come here for lunch/dinner. The staff was very friendly as well as their dining area is super simple yet very clean and neat. And they also put my food together very quickly .
My daughter found this Korean place so we decided to try it as we have been looking for a spot to try. They did not disappoint. We ordered takeout and got the crispy dumplings, Gochu orange chicken, honey soy grill chicken, brisket bulgogi, and the beef bulgogi cupbab. The food was amazing! The staff was very friendly. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends!
Great tasting food. I have just started to go thru their menu. Friendly people as well.
This is a great restuarant. I really enjoyed the cheesesteak, dumplings and bulgogi salad. The French fries were very good too; fluffy on the inside, lightly seasoned and crispy on the outside. I only have 2 critiques: 1. The music they play makes you feel like you're in a dance club, but, it's not a big deal. And 2. They should add fresh brewed tea to the menu. Other than that, everything else is GREAT. They have a very good variety of menu options. If you've never been here, you need to give it a try.
First time in The Gochu and you have to go try their amazing food! The crispy dumplings are delicious The service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience.
The lady took my orders didn't even ask me if it's to go or for here first of all. It was my first time trying this restaurant so I thought maybe thats how it works here in this restaurant since I didn't say it's to go. I sit after ordered expecting my food either I go to the counter to pick up or she brings me the food. Nah, I guess she automatically guessed it is to go? I don't know what it is but my food was all packed up and I was siting waiting and wondering if she is ever giving me some water I ordered for 20 mins.... sigh..
Loved the food! Supper great and yummy, a bit pricey tho but kinda worth it
First time eating there, very friendly, clean and delicious and of course Kpop music ao that was the icing on the cake.
Tasty lunch! Good variety on menu for tea and dishes! Fresh and filling.
This is an amazing hidden gem in Northeast El Paso. I highly recommend this place! I love the quaint ambiance and everything on the menu is awesome! They have all your standard Korean fares like Galbi and Bulgolgi! What really impressed me is this place took up a notch and made things intercontinental!!! I wanted something really different that I never had before and I tried this treat! It's a Bulgolgi Philly Cheesesteak! This thing is amazing! It's the best of both worlds. The beef is perfectly cooked, flavorful and soft. The veggies were cooked to perfection and the cheese was melted in all its glory. I am surprised I never came across something this "fusionish" earlier. I am definitely coming back real soon to try something else. I always say support Local and for people come to the Northeast and try stuff that is unique.
