This place was great the first time I went years back. It was also good the second time I went. However, today’s experience was not that great. First, when we walked in, no one was at the entrance to greet us, and we saw 3 of the waitresses standing near the kitchen. They asked us from across the room if we wanted to dine in or make a to-go order which was hard to hear with the music. That could’ve been avoided if someone had been near the entrance to seat guests. We sat ourselves and didn’t wait long for drinks or food so that was awesome. The food was good. Not like it used to be. Our waitress asked us if we were okay once and then we never saw her again. We had to ask two other people for items such as the missing beans that come with the food, and to-go boxes. She never came back to ask us if we wanted refills or anything. We won’t be going back for a while. We’ll wait until there’s new staff.
Service was excellent girl working at the front was superb they have good food I eaten here before and liked it
Busy Taco restaurant. We were a party of 7 and the staff quickly put tables together to accommodate us. Good taco menu selection, I opted for AL Pastor tacos, baked potato. Plate cones with six tacos, grilled onions, sliced radishes, cilantro sprigs and lime slices. Pastor meat was tender (although a bit fatty) and spice was what you would expect from good adobo. Salsa bar was pretty much depleted (we arrived late at night, just prior to closing). But still managed to scoop up a variety of salsas, the Chile Arbol really stood out. Accompanying my meal was a bucket of Model Especial, in a iced down bucket. Overall, good staff, good food and good atmosphere. Treat yourself!!
The food is great but they have this man that is a server and he is extremely rude. I say this because Ive been there a dozen or more times and one time i understand but more than five times. No no no!!! he always has jewelry on. He sees you sitting down and he will take forever to ask you what your drinking or having even if you are the only client there, then he forgets to take you ketchup or a refill and you are trying to wave him and he pretends not to see you. I don't know if he's just an employee the or if he is the owner. The only reason I go there is because my father likes the food there and he can't drive so I have to take him.
Really yummy salsas and excellent tacos!
Traveling from Tucson to Ft. Worth and we thought we should get our last real Mexican food until we get home….it did not disappoint! The portions are huge and the chicken in the tacos was moist and tasty! My husband loved the carne asada tacos. The beans and rice were very good also. Dessert looked wonderful, but we had no room and since we had to drive (not nap) we had to decline.
What a great place. Very nice atmosphere. People are so nice. I asked the waiter to choose for me and he gave me the platter with a bunch of stuff. So good! I can’t wait to come back.
They have a great salsa bar!
What a great place. Eaten here 4 times in the span of a couple weeks. The tacos are bomb, enchiladas? Fantastic. Queso fundido was really good. Great salsa bar to accompany your meal. Highly recommend.
I was so disappointed for the attitude of a to go order. I live very close to this restaurant and I supported them by buying from them often through the COVID pandemic because I felt as I did for many local businesses the need to support for them to survive the pandemic. Not to mention that I am a good tipper even when I get to go orders. I ordered a Mexican plate to go a few days ago and since they are open now to dine in you have access to their wonderful salsa bar. I helped myself to six of the to go salsa small containers. When I asked for tops the cashier only gave me 3 when I asked for 3 more she stated that to go orders can only take 3 containers per order. I felt embarrassed and yet disappointed since I had already prepared my salsa to go. She ended up giving me 3 more tops but made it a point to inform me that she was only being nice and that technically she should charge me for extra salsa. When I said to her that I appreciated it but felt that taking more than 3 salsas shouldn’t be such a big deal especially if I had given a generous tip. She went to tell me that she would be happy to return my tip and I only take 3 salsas. Once again what a disappointment in they way this was handled. I asked for a manager but of course he was not available. Their food is so good and as I said I go there often that 3 more salsas that I asked for at least for me shouldn’t be made a big deal. I’m now in doubt if I want to keep giving them my business and support when if you really feel that you should limit people to their open salsa bar. If you notice people who dine in many time take more than needed salsa yet you don’t limit them so why limit someone who is taking a to go order.
