I am usually such a big fan of Taco Cabana! But I just realized they discontinued the salsa roja. I think that is what the fresh salsa was called. What a shame, that was the best one they had. The food quality wasn’t the best today, cheese was overly melted, the lettuce was a grayish color, no fresh salsa, just overall not the best experience.
Taco Cabana (Mesa/Osbourn) was extremely dirty. Tables looked as if they hadn't been cleaned all day, floor was dirty, ice machine had no ice. Food was slapped together (looked like a 5 yr old prepared the meals). Employees AND management had no interest in the customers. Waste of time and money!!! ?WILL BE A REAL LONG TIME BEFORE I CONSIDER GOING BACK!!! ?
I'm a simple guy with a simple order. All I asked for was 3 flour tortillas. Yes, 3 tortillas to compliment the whole roast chicken that sams club so graciously gave to us. I figured, hey taco cabana is down the block, we can make this a full meal! I didn't think to check when I ordered inside. There was no other customer there. No line in drive thru. Didn't think they'd screw up a three tortilla order. But they did. Somehow, they did. I am honestly impressed. Can't be mad. Just impressed. I use to come here regularly in high school (07) and it was THE place to be on the Westside on Friday nights and it was always usually packed any other day. Its sad to see what it's come to. You all don't work too hard now.
Simply 4 piece order. Taco plate, cabana bowl, gallon of sweet tea, and small chips with queso. Not only did I receive just the food, chips and queso not included. Taco plate was missing extra items, which is extra of course. I asked about the tea to be brought back a xlarge cup which cannot contain a gallon of sweet tea. Of course he also didn't say anything when he handed me the tea.
Everything came out of a can, no spice, very little flavor. Sampler plate was pre made on a plastic plate , so food was cold. Nacho plate was has alot of food but it was at best warm.
They took 30 min to serve 2 quesadillas the steak quesadilla for $10 didnt have steak may be 2 pieces about half inch each piece tortilla was hard, i will not recomend to eat here ??
Terrible service and not si great food.We got to the counter to place our order for 5 people.Employees saw us and ignored us for any 5 minutes until I had to tell out loud to someone if they were serving or not.Once they got our order the girl has an attitude. We order margaritas and did not get the small bottles until we sat and asked 3 times.I wanted a glass of water and did not get it until after we got the food.They no longer have the salsa station but did not offer if we wanted any with our orders.I do not think I will go back.
This location on mesa was horrible the place is grose and dirty the floors never swept tables dirty theres no trash can in bathroom so garbage is everywhere its unsafe and grose the food took forever the employee's were rude and not helpful the soda machines don't have the product it comes out water and the walls are dirty there is no good management at all in this location it should be shut down and deep cleaned specially during covid this place is unsafe the owner of this company needs to come here and see how this restaurant is being ran and how nasty it is i will never come back again its nasty
Every time I go, the food is over salted, but the servers are always super nice
This place has gone downhill fast.We stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes without even being acknowledged. Dining room was disgusting. Tables were dirty. Trash on the floor. Bathroom was the same.Food was ok but the order was wrong which appeared to be the only consistent thing the entire night.I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone unless you're ok with waiting an absurd amount of time for an incorrect order.
