This whole establishment is A+++ When anyone asks me where is the best sushi I say "Sunny's on Viscount is the shiiii!!" Def love the retro music, decor is charming. I eat here A LOT and can really vouch for the food being amazing every time. The rolls are well made they don't fall apart easily like other places I've tried, so important! I highly recommend the Chef's Special and the Beauty & the Beast rolls. The menus have a lot of pictures. If you don't know what to try the servers always have great recommendations too. Try the mochi balls ice cream they have Red Bean, Mango, Strawberry and Matcha Green tea, Delicious!
horrible experience.the waiter spilled hot miso soup all over my dress and legs - did not offer a discount or free desert or anything.I ordered crabpuffs, and it was just cream cheese, there was literally a flake of crab in it.Sushi took forever to come out.My california roll was gross and basically was a cucumber roll, it had almost no meat in it. Complete waste of money.
So this sushi place has been pretty good. I really do enjoy the lunch specials . There’s not many sushi places that have lunch specials . But this place has got ‘em , more bang for your buck . The chef special has a kick to it but I love it . I’d put a 5 star but for some reason they are always late with orders . But the food is amazing . I’m gonna keep ordering from this place every time I’m in the mood for sushi .
waitress was so sweet and everything was great. everything so fresh. all the sushi and kimchi was so so good.
Went for some lunchtime sushi and ended up getting both sushi and their lunch box meal. The meal has everything in the photo in addition to a cup of miso soup. Healthy amount of food well-prepared. The service was great, our waiter Alex was attentive and interactive.
The food was amazing!! And Alex is the best waiter ever!!! I can't wait to come back and I hope he serves our party again!!!
Almost gave this place 5 stars but the salmon on the sushi was a little slimy, and they put a little too much cucumber in their sushi as well. Other than that, amazing. Great service. Food was amazing. I had never had sushi before but my friend talked me into trying this place and I was surprised I liked it
Came here for my birthday in July and it is definitely my favorite location in El Paso! The waitress was a little absentminded but it was a busy night and that does not take away from the amazing quality of the sushi! Had the green apple sake and it was very yummy! My friends and I shared the sushi boat and we’re so full afterwards!
I was a little taken back when I first saw the menus because the prices were a little higher than most places I get sushi. When I travel sushi is always my go to. I figured premium price for premium product!I always order 1 California roll, 1 spider roll, then one specialty. The California roll was $7.75, and spider was $15.50. This is slightly pricy on the California and much higher than the $9-$12 I normally see for a spider. When the rolls came out, the spider roll was cold and the California roll was made cheaply with 80% of it being cucumber. I’m not sure if this is due to price inflation or just over charging, but I was underwhelmed. I sent the spider roll back to the kitchen to be remade. For $15.50, it needs to be perfect. The specialty roll I ordered was fantastic, but I judge a sushi restaurant on the quality of the spider and California since you can get those anywhere.
Worst waitress ever..Talks super fast, races around always in a hurry, asked questions and ran away before I could answer. The sushi chef has a lot to be desired too... Was out of EVERTHING I wanted,All of the hot food was cold, and all of the cold food was warm.Awful fish AWFUL SERVICE..For a $300 lunch you would think they would hire a little talent...I will not be back to this store. But I have dined at the Montana restaurant.....A COMPLETELY different experience,
