We dined here with an out-of-town visitor and were shocked by the change from our last visit. The staff did not even say hello for several minutes, eventually came over with a couple of menus, and after a while took appetizer orders. The food was just kind of OK, not worth taking the remains home...and two parts of our order never appeared (which were at least removed from the bill). There is likely a staffing shortage - common to most restaurants just now - but this felt more like the place was just tired. It will be hard to plan to go back.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Service was a bit slow but customer-to-staff ratio was on high side, so maybe service was fast. Current prices are up from those on website; they look to be $1 all around.Entrees serve more than one. I forgot Vietnamese restaurants offer family-style portions. Another memory this place brought back are the 80s and 90s club music that they play.My Pho Ap Chao was flavorful and very crunchy. Soaking the noodles in the sauce tamed the crunchiness. The squid was brought later in a separate dish because they were left out. Thumbs up for staff because I didn't even notice.
Would consider this a typical homestyle vietnamese cooking.. Nothing really fancy or different.. Taste is authentic and I like it.. Pho is priced at $12.25 and Bun bo hue ($12.95).. The ambiance is common vietnamese restaurant. Would still recommend for a visit.
Being coming here for a while now, hands up great taste for the multiple items I have ordered. Good portions and nice variety of options to choose from. Be prepared with time because sometimes it will take a while to get the food at the table, especially if it's full.
My first experience with vietnamese cuisine; Awesome, LOVE IT! ♡
Been a while and ordered what I used to. Eggrolls were tiny (like size of your finger) with little filling, mostly flaky breading. Pho Tre Gien on I-10 is MUCH better with awesome eggrolls, lower prices and bigger portions.
Good veggie Pho and tofu spring rolls..
Food was good. Service was something else. Took about 5-8 min for anyone to notice us. After that took another while to get our drinks. Ordered spring rolls as appetizers, a vermicelli, and pho. Table next to us had to waive down someone and ask to make their food to-go cause food was taking too long and they were already running late. When we got our food, they brought the vermicelli out first. 5 min later the spring rolls, which were suppose to be appetizers. Then 10 min later the pho. The food was good, but the service looked understaff with only 2 servers.
I love the Sandwich and Pho, i never had to use the bathroom before, I needed to wash my hands too, and Surprise!!!!!The most disgusting Bathroom I have never seen! Please this is priorityThat is stopping me to come back
What happened to their eggrolls? They are the size of crayons and obviously Sams Club quality. They used to be regular size and very appetizing, but I heard it was under new management since last time I was here. Mostly breading that flakes apart and little filling and very dry - you will need some extra water. Pho Tre Bien on I-10 is MUCH better with awesome eggrolls, lower prices and bigger portions. No more Saigon Taste for us.
