Bottom Line Up Front, the price is way too high for the quality of ramen. You can find cheaper bowl with higher quality here in El Paso.I love ramen and I think it's nice El Paso is growing in this area. That being said, I wanted to give this spot a chance. I got the Texan and my wife got the Cajun. Right off the back we noticed the proteins were undercooked. The shrimp was overly fishy, egg was whole and yolky inside, and the brisket was very chewy and flavorless. We honestly though our gyoza was refrigerated. The broth was meh at best, but the noodles taste straight out of a Maruchan packet. Once I got that taste in my mouth, it was very off putting. At first impression, it seems corners are cut in terms of ingredients, prep and their quality. Then again, I'm not seeing what's going on in the kitchen. You can find better bowls at cheaper price here in town. They have an okay amount of Japanese drinks but they can definitely up their variety. The place could use a bit more in decoration, but the conditions of the restroom do need to be improved. The door will not close properly. I also noticed Cobb webs in the back left corner and 2x4s chilling near the kitchen. Hopefully it's just temporary, those things should not be in restaurants.
Great ramen ! I just got here to El Paso and I was looking for a good ramen place, I think this is the one, totally recommended.
Food is great. I feel it's over priced for what u get, but again...its delicious! Music section that was played shouldnt be inappropriate especially if u have kids coming in. **The music ( I liked) but it was very hard core like goth/underground/ acid type rock with ALOT of F bombs etc.. and was very loud. One group of customers left because of this and some in my party were affended. Later ( about an hr) the young lady did start playing "neutral" music.
Location is fine and experience was okay. This location is in need of some updating or just freshening up. The ambiance greatly impacts the experience. The ramen was between ok and good. This place for sure has better ramen than some other El Paso locations I have visited. We tried the tonkotsu or El Pasoan, and the brisket ramen. I was satisfied with the meats. They were tender with good flavor. The spring roll was more of a soggy egg roll. They provided a separate spicy sauce. That had a good kick. Serve in moderation. They had an ok coffee drink. Some of those sodas were good.
Great food! Only downside is that they are a bit pricey, but it's understandable and worth it. It's clean inside and everyone is friendly, but only one restroom.
Best Ramen spot in El Paso!! It might be a hole in the wall but we make it a thing to go at least 2-3 times a month! You won't go wrong with anything you order from there menu, they will even customize your Ramen for you to your liking!
It’s incredible ramen. I love it
Great Ramen stop once you get past the ordering, employee behind the register did not know much and musta’ been ready to go home. When asking about certain ramen dishes very little feedback was given. A menu with pics would be helpful as no pics are provided. Once got past the ordering, ramen was pretty good, good flavor, good portion and definitely hot. We had the Texas Ramen with brisket, very good twist and flavorful.A must revisit to try others hopefully with more help on menu selection.Restaurant was clean and spacious. Good location, good parking.
Made a take-out order through the phone. The guy who answered was unenthusiastic and rude. Seemed to want to hang up as fast as possible. I ordered a spam bowl. I get home and the ramen only had two small pieces of spam. For a $17 dolllar ramen this is ridiculous. I'd understand if the ramen was less expensive. For the price I expect quality food and service. Will not be returning ever again.
Didn't expect to pay over $100 for bland ramen. The bowls were sad, and the flavor was nonexistent. None of the bowls that we had ordered tasted like tontaktsu. We ordered Cajun, El Pasoan, and two build your owns. All four lacked flavor depth and barely any ingredients. We frequent a lot of ramen places in town, and this has by far been the worst.
