Actually I always call to have my food delivered! And I usually always order my favorite. Which is Pan Fried Noodles Combination. And I've done this for about over five years now. When last year I read on the news that Chinese Restaurants were experiencing Racial Prejudice. I knew that wasn't right. So to show my support, I continued ordering from Red Lantern. But around November I called to order, several food items. And my Pan Fried Noodles had three long black human hairs. very disappointing. I called to complain, and Red Lantern redelivered same dish but with no shrimp. I stopped ordering from them till last week, when I decided to order again. This time their service dropped, my food came in Styrofoam 32 once cups. They've never done that before, the pan fried noodles always come in Styrofoam plates. But the food itself comes in plastic plates sizzling hot. I do take it personal, because when I called to order, they already have my phone number and address listed on their data. And they know that I have been a customer for a few years now. But when the girl answering my call, and she looked up my phone number and repeated my name and address. She put my on hold, and that's never happened before. I felt suspicious because of what had happened before. So as is the girl had to go ask the manager. I just felt it wasn't right! but then when my food arrived. A was not expecting the poor quality of service in food preparation. I always pay over thirty dollars and I give the delivery driver a $5.00 tip. That was the final straw for me.. BTW! I use to live in San Francisco, and there is a HUGE Difference in Chinese Food! El Pasoans are being taken for fools.

Definitely the one best chinese food in El Paso. Portions are great and for a good price General Tso is so delicious

I went for the lunch special and was please by the large number of selections. Food arrive fairly quickly, wonderfully freaky and flavorful. For 4.95 ! Large enough portion I took some home.

Didn't make an impression.

Weekday lunch specials are large portion great tasting meals that include soup. 2 meals with 2 drinks under $16 and neither of us could finish them. Been coming here for years and will continue to do so.

Large portions for each order/plate; Easiest to order 3 or 4 plates (not including rice) to feed groups 4 or larger easily. Delivery is available for our area and always arrives in a decent time after ordering.

At least 20 years ago, or longer, I had last eaten here with my family when both children were quite young (elementary school age), but the fleeting memory of quality then was reinforced now. The fried rice was delicious, filling and an excellent ask for the two toppings of orange chicken and broccoli-chicken. These were the two my good friend & former colleague GM had selected for the dual lunch special we shared.Indeed, my enjoying lunch here was at his invitation to their (VAC: Vocational Adjustment Coordinator) traditional end-of-the school year meeting, in which I Shared a table with all five of them. I was very fortunate to be able to join them, especially at thus fine eatery.Anyway, our discussion was primarily focused upon work-related duties and final tasks before Summer break. Just listening to the complexities involved were not necessarily too different from when I was a VAC, but my input became more limited because of technology: increased use of computers and internet, and I am a (slowly evolving) “Digital Dinosaur”! I’m very glad I reTIRED when I did!
