I remember when Peter's German bakery was in Bassett Mall and the first time I ever ate there was the most wonderful day of my life and it still is. This place has always been a class act and I would suggest it to anyone who has ever had any German bratwurst and bread in general highly recommend this place
Amazing foods, great customer service, also a nice selection of german beers. The person working made us feel extremely welcome. I will be coming back and recommending to others. The inside was very quaint and setting a perfect scene to take you out of El Paso!
Best German food in the area. Wish he had bratkartoffelen though. Great prices and I am happy to support good local businesses.
This is great German food right here in El Paso. Try different items on the menu, it's authentic and delicious. This is the real German cuisine that will fill you up and make you happy. It's hard to pick a favorite dish, but I'll go with the Jager schnitzel, it never disappoints. Das Essen ist sehr lecker!
Great authentic german food! Made me miss home! I had the schnitzel and the beesting cake, it was just amazing. Wish he would open up a big restaurant! We loved it. Will definitely be back!
Excellent German food, nice variety of German beer, fast, friendly service; wonderful selection of baked breads, pastries, cakes, and German pretzels!
Amazing local German Bakery/Restaurant. The owner is extremely nice and always makes you feel welcomed. Highly recommend the bratwurst and potato salad.
Lived in Germany so had to check it out. Highly recommended by the guys from Dark Dagger Tattoo. Simple menu selection and great prices. Enjoy a nice German beer while you wait. Looking forward to going back again.
I love coming here. Peter is super nice and will always greet you with a smile and a “wilkommen”. There’s daily specials too. My personal favorite is the Jäger Schnitzel. I grew up on home cooked German food and that’s what this place reminds me of, a home cooked meal at my Oma’s house. There’s also a great beer selection and treats to take home. This is one of my favorite places in El Paso and I take my friends here when I want to show off German food.
Man i gotta tell you i did not expect to find a German place here, especially one this damn good. I came here and felt like i was at my long lost grandparents house, great atmosphere and the gentleman running the place is extremely friendly. They have a long of good beers and the food is so good i was gonna ask my wife for her plate! They have tons of baked goods and interesting treats. I cannot wait to come back and bring family when they come down here. Hats of to the owner for putting in the time and effort to make such amazing things in a place that lacks a lot of diversity in cuisine.
