Italian Salad Soup
(915) 585-1097

Main entrees delivered to table not even two minutes after salad & breadsticks. I had the impression the lasagne came from a frozen package and reheated in a microwave. Like the drought in TX, there was a drought of sauce. Wife's alfredo was only warm, not hot & some noodles were dried out. Been to many OGs, but this was the worst in recent memory.

Normally the service and food are good. The last visit the service was soso. We ordered, received the appetizers, then 2 minutes later, we received the soup and salad, then 1 minute later, we received the main dishes. The soup had to be sent back because it was only the broth and no vegetables. The salad was lacking flavor. One of our main dishes was under cooked. We have contacted the manager via email.

After a long day of traveling from California, I stopped to get dinner with my daughters. Our waitress, whom I’ll address as A. Was quite rude when I politely asked her if the meatballs were made with pork. She quickly snapped “It’s beef ma’am.” I felt as if I was irritating her but I dismissed it and let her I know I wanted to confirm because we do not eat pork. Then I asked about the meat sauce and she again was rude and said “It’s made with the same thing the meatballs are ma’am.” In a curt tone. So it was clear she was having a bad day. I ordered the dish and as the dinner proceeded, her demeanor/ attitude got not better. I continued to be polite despite this. At the end of the dinner. I paid my table and asked to speak with the manager. After taking the time to explain to the gentleman, I’ll address as D.M., the situation and what all my questions had been and what all transpired. He informed me that my waitress was not having that bad of a day to be so rude. He also stated that she was not new to the company and knew that the meatballs are beef but the meat sauce is made with abeef and pork mix. Myself and my children have never eaten pork due our beliefs & the uncleanliness of the pig. So to have my child served that in an act that felt intentional is beyond upsetting. She was sick for several days with an uneasy stomach. The manager was kind and understanding and informed me that he would take the time to speak with the young lady. It’s just hurtful that that’s her spirit towards customers, children at that.

Went for dinner and it was amazing! The staff was so friendly and our waitress Rachel was the best! Great food and great drinks. Had no wait and got served so quick. Great experience!

While travelling through El Paso, we went to this restaurant for early dinner at about 4:30 in the afternoon. The first thing we noticed was that the front entrance door was FILTHY. That aside and as we had been travelling all day we proceeded to go in. The restaurant was mostly empty and we were met by two hostess at the kiosk. We were seated promptly and told our waiter would be with us shortly. After about five minutes a young man approached and asked for our beverage order. My wife drinks hot water with lime and it arrived fairly quickly. I had order a draft of Blue Moon. after close to 15 minutes I asked another waiter if he could send our waiter as I had not received my beer. Our waiter then came over and said that they were out of Blue Moon. I then selected another choice. Our salad arrived and still no soup. In due course our soups arrived and were lukewarm. We were near finished our salads and soup and still no breadsticks. It is fair to say that the Olive Garden is one of our "go-to" places to eat and the soup and salad is usually good for a quick meal. We asked for our breadsticks and it seemed to come as a surprise to the waiter that this was part of our meals. We also asked for our bill as we were not sure how long we would have to wait if we did not ask. This experience reminded me of a parable told by Tom Peters, Management Guru, who made the statement that the coffee stain on the table tray is directly proportionate to the maintenance of the engines, obviously referring to the airline industry but in this case the same holds true. The filthy from door should have told us that we would not have a good experience and we certainly did not.

The food was amazing! It’s Olive Garden!!! The waiter was so attentive to us. The food was served in a timely manner. The restaurant was pretty busy, but they seated us relatively quickly. The Amaretto sour was so good, I highly recommend ordering it if you plan on ordering some adult drinks. My partner and I shared a plate and they even divided it for us which was such a perfect portion for two, especially since we both got salad and even had room for dessert. This Olive Garden has never let us down. We honestly miss Joseph, but I’m glad this restaurant is still slaying it! Keep up the great work guys!

The service here was not very good, the cleanliness was awful, and the food was bland and way too oily. When seated, the table was dirty and the paying/gaming screen was beyond filthy covered in left over food. In this time of covid, they wouldn't even clean the table or screen before seating people. I soon realized when looking around, no tables were being cleaned, just dishes being taken. When we got our drinks, I was disgusted, there was lipstick residue on the rim of the glass. Notified our waiter if I could have another. I did not want any compensation, I just wanted a clean glass. We got our food before I ever got a new drink, waited almost 30 minutes. Now the food, I haven't been to any of their establishments in over 6 years because I remember the food not being worth the price, I decided on a last minute dinner and chose this place. Worst decision, food was awful, either too salty, too oily, or just plain bland. Never a median. I don't know if it's just this location, but If you insist on still having dinner at this establishment, I recommend another location.

Waiting time was ridiculous, staff and management was skipping sitting order. People would arrived and was sat others that were just walking in. No accommodations were offered in order to follow waiting order. When questioned staff they said the table was getting cleaned yet others keep skipping order and over 45 minutes had passed of waiting. Manager was horrible made some religious remarks making me feel more passed off than the beginning. There was no need for her additional remarks (I will pray for you, I feel sorry for you) very unpleasant evening and service. Management should be trained appropriately not just be there because they have a salary. I will never go back to your locations.

Standardized mass produced Italian style American food. I seem to remember some lemon based chicken choices from years past, and I remember the Tour of Italy being larger, but those are minor quibbles. A solid choice if you already know what you want and it's not adventurous.

I’ve been to Olive Garden many times. This is the best experience I’ve had. Ever. Reduced menu, but everything was fresh, delicious and the service was great, despite known staff shortages everywhere. I even ordered take home pasta. Cheers! Thanks to our server Rachel for a little humor and great service.
