Love Mi Oiaci. We had Carbonara, Pistachio Fettucini with shrimp and Cacio e Pepe. Wonderful meal, drinks and wine. Keep it up Cosimo!

Mi Piaci has a lot of potential. The service was amazing - everyone was stellar, down to the bartender running a stylized shop pouring drinks to the classic Italian tunes. The food was really good. We ordered calamari and bruschetta. The former was undercooked and wet, and the latter was too oily (but very tasty). Our entrees were superb. I ordered thr pesto gnocchi which was very good. My husband ordered a chicken pasta fish in beschemal. Very yummy! The ambience was not great. They have this huge dark room with one ENORMOUS WINDOW that let's light into a fraction of the restaurant. I was unlucky enough to be seated such that my husband was in the dark, and I was staring directly into the searing El Paso sunlight. It was terribly. My husband switched spots with me which was very nice, but guys, do something about the window. Seriously. It does not jive with the atmosphere. On top of that, there was no other mood lighting. So just black, or death by a thousand sun's. Dessert was a delicious sweet mascarpone dish, and an awful lava cake that was gritty and cold on the inside. No lava, just cold, gritty chocolate mush. All in all, a good restaurant for El Paso. The highlights were the wonderful service and the delicious entrees. Lowlights were primarily the ambience/environment.
Food was okay, not sure if the price was worth it, it wasn't a wow, but okay. The ambiance and place make it a nice quiet romantic place if thats what youre looking for. Servers are okay but could improve dinning experience.

First time eating here and it exceeded all expectations. This was the most authentic Italian food in El Paso. Anything topped with the Parmesan toast should be highly considered just for the topping! Itâs amazing!
Made reservations a two weeks prior for my wife and I to enjoy our anniversary some place we have not eaten at, some where that looks romantic, and would have the perfect atmosphere on our special day. When making the reservation, it ask for occasion, which I noted. I kept it a surprise from my wife, wanting our evening to be perfect. Confirmed reservations when the email came a few days prior to our date.Our day came and I get an email stating our reservations were canceled by the restaurant. No reason given, just canceled. I tried contacting them to see why or attempt to keep the reservation, but no answer, like all day.There will not be another attempt to dine at this restaurant, because that is not how you treat guest or potential guest.
Entrance to exit and everything in between were all great. Food and service were excellent when they got to it.
Bad smell in restaurant and bland food
Food is consistently great. Always enjoy my experience at Mi Piaci. Chicken Picatta is exceptional.
