They have lost me as a loyal customer. Today, I went in to place a birthday cake order. I felt the person at the counter was dismissive and rude. The person ahead of me received better customer service for her order with a shorter turn around time. When it was my turn I was told that they couldn’t take my order which was on a later date, a Saturday (2 weeks away from event) at the end of the month and plainly said, “no” to my service request. With no further explanation. I then asked if they could help me with a birthday cake nothing specific on design and again the answer was “no.” I thought this was a reputable bakery and they could bake a simple birthday cake. Sadly, this was the place where my wedding cake was purchased and other orders for different special occasions. We have supported this business and would have expected better customer service. This was a clear sign that I should take my business elsewhere.
I've come here several times whether it be for cupcakes, brownies, baking accessories, edible glitters or molds. They have quite a selection of flavors for cupcakes and they're delicious! On one occasion I needed cupcakes last minute, I walked in and they had what I needed along with cute decorations to add on top. Cakes are pre-order. Last night I needed frosting asap, so I pulled in and got 2 lbs of frosting before they closed. The frosting was already in a piping bag! Super convenient. I will continue to come here and I highly recommend this spot for all your baking needs.
The cupcakes are delicious and flavorful! Love all the flavor options. My husband ordered me some while he was out of town and got them delivered via Uber eats. Such a cool treat!
I purchased a sweet 16 cake and paid $800 for something that looked nothing like the picture I showed them and the color of cake was not even close to what I requested. It was a very elegant event and the cake looked like an $80 cake. Very disappointed.
Facts!!!!! Have been getting cupcakes here for years. I talk about this place all over the world. Their Strawberry Cupcake may be the best cupcake I’ve ever eaten and the best baked good I’ve ever had period. Prove me wrong. Get one and it will change your life. I love this place wish they had a location on the Eastside. Love getting a dozen Strawberry Cupcakes for different occasions. Check this place out!
I was excited to try manjar for an event. Ordered a small cake. The price alone should've sent me running, but always trying to buy local, I went with it. The cake itself was so flavorless, very dry, super dense and almost inedible. The design was also not exactly what I asked for, but I let that pass thinking the cake would be amazing. I still had more than half the cake left, guests did not enjoy it. Really disappointing, especially for the price I paid. A supermarket cake would've been better.
