Fast friendly service and great tasting food
One of the most comforting, delicious breakfast on the west side! The breakfast Menchaca plate my absolute favorite, I get this every time and it never disappoints! I also get a short stack of pancakes and they are the perfect sweet addition to my meal!
This place says its open at 7 am. I showed up at that time where there was a human sign saying they open at 830. This is definitely false advertising. I mean even if the maps of Google say it's open a 7 don't you think there supposed to follow their advertisements on other sites. Very unprofessional. And I didn't even want to try there mendo. But hey. Nice human sign. I wish that would have taken place in my marriage. Not my responsibility to do your job on time. How about you fix your boo boo Lucy's restaurant. Cuz you got Google lying for you on a Saturday morning where Google says your open at 7 am. Thank you for an unwelcoming breakfast on May 14th 2022. No wonder you haven't grown since opened. Now it's 8:02. While trying to enjoy my breakfast at jack n the box, I saw two more customers leave for the false advertisement. They literally looked at the door as if it was magic keeping it closed. They must have been customers. Now I'm contacting Google. I wonder where the the buck is gonna stop. ?
Ate at this location in 2021 and food was good. One year later we decided to order take out after a long day of driving. Food didn't have much flavor and to top it off you have to order chips and salsa separately, which they don't tell you. So no chips and salsa for us. Last year they gave us multiple bags with our orders that they insisted be fresh made. Not sure what happened to this place.

First time here at Lucy's Cafe at kings X. I got the chicken tampiquena. Was really flavorful. Didn't like the rice or bean's too much. But I would go back to try another dish.
The cheese dip with peppers was very good. Tacos as well. Chile relleno wasn’t my favorite.
Machaca plate is an El Paso classic. The food is great, the staff is friendly and this place feels like home. If you are looking for a full menu at Lucy's make sure you go to this location. Best part of being home!

The food is pretty reasonably priced, and you get a good amount. The quality is alright. The guy that served us was pretty kind and the inside was a bit out of shape but comfortable nonetheless.
