This place was amazing! Portions were large as well. We will definitely be back!

Great food and a wonderful spot with a view! We went on a Friday afternoon when it wasn’t too busy and sat on their rooftop. We came from Austin and I was ecstatic to find a vegan food spot in El Paso. Loved the chorizo taco I had and queso! The mushroom taco was a little too crunchy and hard for my liking. Flautas were okay but weren’t my favorite. Great service from the staff. Just wished they offered corn tortillas but otherwise overall great spot! Loved the vibe of the bar it’s in!

Fantastic hidden gem! Please look this place up! It is a kitchen working inside a bar...and very hard to find. The bar has a small sign on the sidewalk outside indicating that Lick It Up is there, but even with personal directions from the concierge at Hotel Paso Del Norte and two onine maps I had a hard time finding it. It is vegan Mexican cuisine-but even meat eaters will love this place! I was with a group that really wanted good local food and we all set off with different ideas in mind...some wanted meat. And we all ended up here! And the food is amazing! The people who work the bar are really kind about directing you to to the kitchen towards the back to pick up to-go orders (me) or instructing dine on site people how to order through their website while having a drink at the tables or bar (my friends). The music inside is loud but that was the only downside. It was clean, friendly, a full bar for dining in person, and an easy to use online ordering process for take out. The to-go containers are the nice sturdy recyclable cardboard (not styrofoam!) and the food itself is served simply and generously. No iceberg lettuce or rice to fill up the meal-just good, solid, delicious burritos, quesadillas, tacos, and nachos. If you are thinking about it and someone in your group says "oh I want "real meat", just tell them to try it. All the varieties of plant based proteins will satisfy their craving.

Went to hunt down a wholesome taco place and found this literal hole-in-the-wall place, but it certainly did not disappoint. Slightly hesitant due to being inside a bar, but even their atmosphere was extremely open and friendly. Order was pretty fast and really friendly (woman gave me a water and told me about the rooftop to hang out at). Tried the Los Dos Burritos…and we warned…they were enough for two people! Whatever their red sauce was, which they provided on the side, added an awesome heat to the meal. I’m guessing the place is electric on weekend nights, and if I had a second chance to come back, definitely getting some of their tacos and partaking some of the drinks at the bar. Great place for a quick bite to eat or hanging out with some friends!

Vegan and vegetarian comfort food, located inside and to the back of the INTL Bar. Per the chef’s rec I got the burrito with veg carne asada. Great flavors and super savory, but would have loved a vegan creamy sauce, tomatoes, or some avocado to moisten it up a bit and break the saltiness. Overall it was way too salty. I’ll try this place again. Eyeing the sloppy joe and brussel sprouts on the return.

Only giving 3 stars because they're vegan, but the placed smells terrible like deep fried oil, so much that when I got home my clothes were permanently soiled with the smell. The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. Definitely won't be backm

Absolutely shameful. My wife and I ordered from here tonight to try something different. She got the Carne asada fries (good but the “meat” was a little salty) and I got the milenesa quesadilla. I only took two bites and opened it to see there was HARDLY ANYTHING IN IT. All tortilla and maybe a scoop of the meat. Absolutely trying to get a refund. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

Great spot for vegan tacos that are reasonably priced, sauces are spicy and great, the food was a bit over-salted and I love salt! Just a reminder to check that every once in awhile ;) the counter is at the back of the bar, which can be confusing from the outside. They are open! If you go at lunch time, the bar is closed, so you'll sit comfortably in the space.

Amazing food, always fresh, and always vegan ? I recommend the milanesa torta, the alambre tacos, the quesadilla w/ mushroom chorizo, and the nachos (pictured.) And our favorite side is their charred Brussels sproutsThe bar itself could use some freshening up, but from what I understand, it is a separate entity from LIU

Vegan in El Paso is not always the easiest to find. This spot is a gem for that reason. The food was delicious and the service was great. We ate inside the bar. It was a hip environment to enjoy our dinner.I would give 5 stars, but they didn’t make it clear that the protein used was Seitan. My partner is allergic and suffered after for that reason. So, beware, the Carnitas and Milanese were both Seitan. My partner suffered all night for that reason.
