Wonderful place! Had the beer tempura fish tacos, was absolutely delicious! Will definitely be coming back!
My daughter and I both agree that our lunch at Lapa Lapa was the best meal we had during our visit to El Paso! The shrimp ceviche was delicious and the tacos we tried were outstanding- especially the Lapa Lapa taco. The service was super and the restaurant itself was an inviting place to be. I highly recommend Lapa Lapa!
Food was excellent! Our family had a shrimp queso starter followed by shrimp tacos , fish and chips and the breaded filet and they were all very tasty. The manager was very nice. We will definitely come back to this quaint, hidden spot

Originally posted a 1 star review about my experience at eating on the westside location on Valentines Day. After being contacted by the owner I appreciate him taking ownership and offering to make things right. We went to eat at the downtown location and that experience was GREAT ! Exactly the experience we were expecting to have the first time around. The food was great and the staff was even better. ! Thank you for making things right !! :)
La comida es rica, pero pésimo servicio. Fuimos el día de ahora y lo cual no había tanta gente y nosotros éramos solamente 3. Llevaron el plato de mi hijo. Después un aperitivo, y el plato de mi esposo. Mi plato nunca llegó, al momento que pregunté la mesera se hizo como que si estaban preparando mi plato y le dije que si ya se iba tardar más mejor que cancelara la orden. Me dijo solamente 5 minutos más va tardar lo cual ya había acabado de comer el aperitivo y le dije que la cancelara. Va a la cocina y les dice “que no hicieran los tacos” aparte de que se le olvidó la orden, mentirosa. En fin duraron bastante para llevar la orden incompleta.
One cook and one server for the entire place. Took us 2 hours to get our food. For a Saturday, not good at all. People were walking in and leaving because they had no servers. Poor girl tried her best and was super polite.
Horrible service. It gets worse everytime. Waitress was slow and we ended up canceling our order. Will never go back!
Just ordered through Uber Eats. The shrimp albondigas were not even halfway full and both orders of fish chicharron were soggy. I’ve order from here several times and this had never happened. Food was really good but the albondigas and chicharron were dissapointing.
It was very disappointing during my visit yesterday. Apparently there was only 1 cook amd it took over an hour to get our food. Once we received our food the shrimp broth was not properly cooked so we had to return it. I don't blame the staff becuase they are doing everything they can, they were apologetic. But this is also very stressful for them having to be dealing with this type of situations. Management should do a better job on meeting demands, specially on weekends.
