Overall food was good, the only negative was the brief visit from a small roach to our table. Lucky I'm not afraid of roaches like I am of spiders otherwise it could have turned ugly in there. I can understand restaurant's will always have pest it's just how it is, my only suggestion is fumigate more often and not just in the kitchen but in the dining area too and don't be afraid to spray under the tables as well. ?
I just called LA MALINCHE RESTAURANT and MARTHA HUNG UP IN ME two times!!!!! First she left me speaking on the phone while she continued her conversation with the walk in customers then she hung up! I called back and she said she was too busy and had to hang up and I told her i want to place an order and she was very RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL and I recommend she be FIRED. I love their foid but MARTHA is making this business owner lose customers and losing money as a redult if MARTHA's RUDE BEHAVIOR
Good fresh food, rice at breakfast a little weird, but okay. Service was good, restaurant was clean. Good beans.
The food is delicious. Big servings and decent prices. The staff is fast and friendly. Will be coming back. Highly recommend the caldo de res.

Delicious food. My favorite is their huevos rancheros but I havent had a dish here that I didn't like.Great service by waitress, food was prepared & brought out fast, food was excellent, but a little disappointed with the service from the lady at the register. She seemed to have gotten bothered by my request to add a tip (since I was paying DEBIT with a DEBIT CARD) especially when I asked her to close my bill at exactly $15 (I like to round up my bills and my food totaled $11.53 on this visit). She seemed upset that I didn't do the math for her & that she had to do some basic math on a piece of paper.Long story short. She ended up charging me $16.63 and when I asked her why she charged me this amount vs the $15 as I instructed she simply stated in a sarcastic voice (in Spanish), "there is a surcharge to use credit cards here...." I should've argued it down to the amount I was willing to pay but decided not to for some reason.MORAL OF THIS POST: make sure you pay in cash if you plan to eat here or make sure you look at your receipt if you choose to pay with plastic because apparently this lady will charge you whatever she thinks you should pay!
Great food and great service. Breakfast and lunch times are my favorite. Loved the Gorditas.
This restaurant is really good. It's been in business for years. Nice portions of food, not too much and not too little. Highly recommend
Just stopped by for a menudo. It clearly is NOT fresh. It tastes very bland and so does the bread. Bad service, worse menudo (don't even try the huevos rancheros, they're terrible. They're made with nacho cheese for some unholy reason. More like huevos gabachos.
Move from El Paso and you will see how much you miss Mexican food. La Malinche was one of my favorite resturants in El Paso. Miss the Picadillo for breakfast !
