This place was recommended while attending work training and it did not disappoint! We were advised to make reservations as it's not a very large space. We were promptly seated and had very attentive service. We ordered the pepinos to start and although it's a very simple dish, it was very refreshing and tasty. I ordered the vegetarian cauliflower taco and a crispy fish (cod I think) taco. Their flavor profiles were each phenomenal. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade and it was perfectly balanced and not too sweet. My bill came out to $14 and change (not counting the appetizer), which for the incredible quality of food and attentive service - well, to me it was a great deal. Please try this place as you won't be disappointed. Very nice place to enjoy a tasty meal! Sorry I only took two pictures.
I wish I could have tried everything. Our friends from New Mexico brought us here and we're so glad they did. Seriously, the food is great, fresh and full of flavor. The cocktails are very good too. It's a unique looking spot and one you'll definitely come back to.
Great little restaurant with an outstanding vibe inside. The food is absolutely outstanding and they have a great Happy hour. But even without the happy hour the prices are more than reasonable. I got the two vegetarian Taco options and strawberry Jamaica that was so good.If you get a chance to stop by here you will be more than pleased. Though the prices are good and because of that you think you might have to order more you likely will not have to. I got two tacos and was pleasantly filled.Vegetarian options: They have a small menu here and included in it is one vegetarian option and one vegan option.
Suadero tacos, huaraches, pepinos…. All delicious. One of The best meals I’ve had in a long time. We discovered from the best tacos issue of Texas Monthly.
Make a reservation for two nights in a row is our recommendation, you will want to try all the tacos!! One of my favorite meals ever, the black bean soup, brussel sprouts and vegetarian tacos are incredible even for meat eaters like us! Jorge our favorite waiter and Kenny at the bar made sure we were taken care of from the Mezcal Paloma’s to the chia pudding for dessert. Definitely worth a trip to El Paso to dine at Elemi ? We will be back soon ? ???
This is the standard of what a taco should be. Just the best tasting and most flavorful dining experience I've had in a while. The duck was amazing, the rabbit was absolutely delicious and the cod was just awesome! The rice pudding was off the chain. And in closing Kenny the bartender is cute.
Honestly worth the hype. Food is quite unique and delicious. The staff is pretty strict about reservations so plan accordingly. Didn’t know what to order and ordered all the tacos talk about a feast. If you like tequila or mezcal, this is your place.
Hands down the best gourmet tacos (I had the duck, rabbit, and fish) I've ever had. Tacos are a good size, too. Love the section of tequilas as well as mezcals... and all the cocktails they make with them. Only a few tables, so its best to make a reservation. Good date night venue!
Loved this place. Bartender was nice and attentive, he recommended a mezcal to us and it was perfect.Food is amazing. Get the Brussels sprouts, they are so good! They have really good vegan options as well.
How would you define perfection? The answer is "ELEMI," a place where flavor, atmosphere and presentation collide for a meal that satisfies in ways that words lack the complexity to describe. A James Beard Award Winner that actually transcends even that high designation. Do I recommend? That's not even the right framing to understand how desperately you need to experience the perfection of this El Paso eatery.
