I can't speak highly enough about this restaurant overall. The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful when it comes to making a decision, and they are very attentive to your table. The food is very high quality, and you could taste the freshness. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu! If you sit at the bar, then I recommend to speak to the chef/owner. He is very personable, and he will guide in having a memorable dining experience.

Always freshly made and delicious sushi. Great spot to go for authentic Japanese cuisine in El Paso.

Nice restaurant with great foods. If you have time you should spend time to try them foods and drinks. They have Happy hour on Tue - Fri 4 pm - 6.30 pm. I would like to recommend Lexus, Tiger, Tuna Tartar and Ocean Rolls. I love it.

We always have a wonderful experience at Dragonfly. The food and service are both excellent. We especially love the mussels, dumplings, and sushi.

There are more options (like Uni) than other sushi restaurants.Loved the quality of food and sake and beautiful but homey atmosphere and the fact that it is Chef owned and operated.

I hate to leave negative reviews and do so sparingly…but it seems like this is a trend looking at the last few…and I tried to reach out to discuss our experience for the last 3 days with no real response and I feel like it was a significant enough negative to relay. I had my birthday here over the weekend at a recommendation of a dear friend. I made my reservation 2 weeks early since there would be at least 15 people and updated the reservation to my final count a week out and let the staff know I asked my guests to be ready with cash to be helpful. We were all adults, etc. They called me an hour before asking if we were “still on” and saying they would be ready for 15 at that time - even though I had said I had a couple more. Walked into the restaurant and there were maybe 2-3 tables left in the place and the back room where we were set we were alone (the other tables left shortly after and we were entirely alone the rest of the night). The table wasn’t even fully set…we were missing 6 + sets of complete silverware. We were given TAKE OUT silverware at our party unlike the tables downstairs with actual silverware. While the staff was kind enough, they seemed ill prepared and undereducated on their own menu. When I mentioned that I asked everyone to have cash the waiter went into a huge discussion of how helpful that would be…but in pushy way asking for that to be the case after I just said it was, as opposed to a “grateful it was brought up” kind of way. Although I stated I was vegan a few times, that same waiter kept telling me about all the meat and fish options I should try. It took over 30 minutes to get a drink at the table (apparently the bartender wasn’t there either and they had no staff available to help - my “hot sake” wasn’t even luke warm and I was initially given the wrong size even though when I ordered my drink there were only about 1/2 of us at the table). We were left many times for long periods and I had numerous guests have to get up and ask for their checks because it took around a half hour for them to check us out even though we were alone. The servers would come back out and see who ordered what numerous times because they didn’t have a system between the 2 of them working to make it streamlined. Toward the end of the night we could hear what staff WAS there laughing and cussing from where we were. I had a couple guests complain later that for what food they got and the quality of everything that they were shocked at how expensive this place was or that it would be recommended. And it isn’t cheap either…I know from most of my guests that everyone paid between $50-120 per person for what they got and that’s with 16 guests so it was a nice bill for both the restaurant and their servers…and for that we got limited service, take out utensils, inconsistent food quality, cold “hot sake”, and a lot of disappointed partiers. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend.

Was greeted by a very kind gentleman who also ended up being our server named Julius. The food was really well made and service was excellent. I highly recommend coming here with family or friends definitely worth the prices too!

I was recommended by a family member. I was excited to try, so, why not on Valentines day. Big mistake. Reserved in self lane a table, 2 days later I get a call that I have to pay 50+ tax to reserve the table or else they will cancel my reservation, okay we payed our dues. We show up, kid you not we were waiting to be seated for 30 mins, we had to call the restaurant to direct us on what to do. What really upset me, is this place at no given moment was I told the restaurant will choose my meal. I asked the waiter where's the menu and he said no you have to eat this 5 course meal or else you can take off I will give you time to think about it. Funny thing is there was a table of 9, guess they were the managers friends or just simply cause they were rich that they had better treatment since they ordered whatever they wanted including a Order to go. Unfortunately we had no options on where to dine in since everything was reserve elsewhere. Also the service was horrible and the audacity of added gratuity when he basically did not even attend us correctly. Should have just gone with the usual Ruth and Chris.

My goodness gracious!!!!! Best, freshest sushi in town!!! And the service and staff?? Phenomenal! An El Paso Gem for sure :)

During my time there the first red flag in a “high end restaurant” was that their bar equipment was not working so there were very limited drinks. Our server was very unprofessional and incompetent. It was very hard to get his attention when we needed to where we had to keep asking other servers for help. I ordered 3 lobster sushi rolls and it took a hour to receive them. The sauce plates were very dirty like someone just wiped them with a towel and put them back on the table. There was barely people there dining. The vibe was very off inside as well. The food quality does not match the price. Extremely overpriced for subpar food. Only thing that was very good and genuine was the Grade 5 wagyu steak. I will not be going to this establishment anytime soon until their staff and food quality has been improved.
