Bbq was absolutely amazing. Brisket fat was rendered very well. Turkey and sausage were great. The pork rib may have been the best I’ve had in Texas and I have tried 15 of the top 50 spots in Texas. Prices were also astonishingly low for the quality of food you are going to get. Can’t recommend desert oaks bbq enough
Yaaassss!!! Have been in Flagstaff area for 4 months and in desperate need for Texas BBQ. Had to come to El Paso for business and found this place. Definitely satisfied the Texas BBQ craving. Brisket had great bark, sausage was delish and the ribs also didn't disappoint. Fell in love with the green chili cheesy rice . This place can compete with the best of the central TX BBQ joint. If you are in El Paso, don't dare leave without trying it.
I ordered the stuff potato with cheddar cheese, sour cream, topped with brisket ! Plus I ordered a side of mac & cheese- It was all very delicious { whenever I’m craving something indulgent I’ll come back here } P.S the sweet tea was also delightful- thank you for bringing something great to El Paso
We had been wanting to try this place for a long time but just never had the chance until today. The meats (brisket, ribs and sausage) were delicious! The Mac and cheese was dry and flavorless. I had the "El Paso" baked potato and it was OK. Overall, the new location looks great and the staff is friendly.
Delicious BBQ in a nondescript location. Ordered the platter for 2-3 for 4 people and it was PLENTY. Delicious, and the sides rock. Beers are cheap (3-5$) but water is not free. Not sure why. Limited seating so be prepared to maybe sit outside or wait for a table.
Stopped here for lunch while driving through the El Paso area. My wife and I both had a sampler platter with ribs, brisket, sausage and two sides. Everything was excellent and everyone was very friendly. They’re moving to a larger location in the near future. Highly recommended.
I had the sausage and brisket. Tender with perfect smoke ring. Sausage flavored and seasoned wonderfully. The beans were more pinto than bbq baked beans and slaw was just okay. Overall though I sure wish I could buy the meat online and ship it back to Tennessee.
BBQ!!!!!!! The ribs are perfect! Brisket tho can't wait to go back the food is great and the staff is super nice. New location soon more outdoor seating.
tried out the Trinity with 3 meats , brisket , rib, and sausage it was really good , maybe they can just speed up the service i waited in line quite a bit , and cashier can offer a To Go bag, other than that food was ? ⭐⭐⭐⭐
First time experience on 2/26/22. Desert Oak is popular & sells out fast. I've been following them on social media & with that I ordered online a day ahead to get what I want. 2 lbs of lean brisket (you get a choice of lean or moist) & 2 full racks of spare ribs for a family of 6. And still had leftovers. Desert Oak uses prime meats so the prices are high, but so worth it. What you pay, is what you get. Desert Oak uses Texas style bbq
