Easily the best butcher shop in El Paso. Ive gotten all kinds of stuff there, even got a turkey the day before thanks giving. Ive gotten ribeye, duck, beef short ribs, bison sausage, guiness beer sausage, today i got some beef tenderloin ect. Super friendly and helpful staff, i definitely recommend this place.
I am from here El Paso Texas am visiting from Northwest New Mexico...i am visiting Family...and i told my Sister about Coronado Prime Meats and how we would go here for lunch when Dad and Mom had their business..i told the Owners this..i assume that's who they were!!Excellent Customer Service and the Chile Verde Burritos were Awesome like i remember!! As soon as I walked in, I was welcomed with open arms. They have a huge selection of exotic meat and local customs. I’m ready to try the kangaroo.
Everything from the staff to the selection in this store is excellent. Immediately walking in we were greeted and welcomed by everyone and informed of all they have to offer which is about anything you could want and if it’s not in stock they will get it for you. Will definitely keep coming back.
I am so sad to write this review. I went a few months ago and it was terrible so I thought I would it give it another try. The bbq burritos were drier than the Sahara and were hard and burnt. I ordered 4 and all 4 were drier than dry. I remember eating those burritos for lunch and them being juicy and dripping so much that I needed napkins. This was the complete opposite. I also bought ice cream that was so burnt that I threw it away. It looked as if it was melted, frozen, then melted, then frozen again. So incredibly disappointed. I hope they put more effort in their food than they do their upselling. I am all for business but if I say no 4 times to something, I don’t want it and I’m not going to change my mind on the 5th try.

Real Texas bbq flavor brisket.
I stopped in to the meat market specifically looking for pork belly. The clerks were both very friendly. The clerk asked me how I was going to be cooking it in order to try to help me decide what I needed. They carry exotic game meats, the one that caught my eye was alligator! They have a lot of different sauces/marinades. Be sure to pick up a bag of tortilla chips and the loaded potato salad! Yummy! The next time I go I'll take more time and really look around. The gentlemen that were working provided excellent customer service and made me feel extremely comfortable and welcome.
It's the only place we'll buy our meats. The staff behind the counter is always helpful with selections. The meat has always been top quality and when we have friends over, they usually ask where it's from.
