Walked in on a Wednesday evening and there was only one table with a family of five seated, no one else. Ordered the typical double burger, fries and rolled tacos. Over 40 minutes later the family was still being served! One person would get their burger, five minutes later another, five minutes later another…I was getting ready to cancel my order when the owner (also the cook, server and cashier) who works by himself told my order would be out next.Finally got my to go order, got home (7 minute drive) and got home to find everything cold. I don’t get it but I know I won’t be back.
Where do I start??? I just don't understand how people think that this is a great burger. It's not a bad burger, but definitely not what it's all hyped up to be. Way over priced and you really don't get to choose what you want, because the owner is so full of himself and very rude! No fountain drinks, just $2 -12oz sodas with no refills. The ambience feels like you're eating in a mechanic shop and the bathroom need some deep cleaning so I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. To top it all off, the guy doesn't let you enjoy your meal cause he doesn't stop talking and bragging about himself and his expenses a$$ burger! What's also bad/sad about him is that he doesn't even react to any of his reviews to help make things right.
The food is good as well as the owner. But I didn't know they will not accept cards. He told me to use ATM from his bar. To take 20 dollars I paid extra four dollars which is unfair . When I ask the owner he said that it is not his machine.Also they don't have legal receipt. I recommond the El Paso city adminstration improve this.
Only giving 3 stars just because my expectations for the burgers were huge and pumped up by the restauranteur.That said they are very good burgers and he does an awesome job on size and the buns. Only gripe would be that it was hyped so much that it left so little give on the rating. That said if it wasn't so hyped I could be more lenient on the review but I'd say it is a burger that beats and to go restaurant and can rival Blake's or even roscoes.The burgers I feel I would give a 7 or 8 outta 10 which is pretty good since I've only ever eaten one restaurant burger that ranked at 9 or higher in my scale.
First time eating from this place. I have to say, the burgers were delicious! The fries with chorizo were very good! Definitely a place to dine out! ?
Best burgers in town. It's a bar and restaurant with the nicest staff. They treat everyone like they are family. The food is delicious as well. A must stop.
The burgers were good and loved the fresh cut fries. The gentleman serving us seemed pushy. He insisted we add an order of tacos to our order. He convinced my daughter to order the tacos which were not that good.
I really recommend this place. 15 out of 10. The owner, Chuco is a really cool guy.
Ok this place is ok not the best but not the worst. The inside was way like way told old school. But I was there for the burgers and fries the burger is ok I like that the buns were toasted makes have a good taste. But in my opinion not the best in El Paso and for the fries I gotta say I loved there fries fresh cut fries are really good they serve you a good portion of fries. The price are really good not bad at all.
Chuco Burger was great. An great tasting simple burger that does not disappoint. Burger patty has a great sear locking in all those juicy flavors. Great burger bun that can handle a burger. Fries were also great. Good thick cut frie had a crispy outside and a fluffy warm inside . Long green Chile salsa was perfect for the fries to dip. A definite sleeper . Will come back to try tacos and hotdogs I heard about so much. Chuco himself is a Gem. You can really see his passion for his cooking and how much pride he has in his burgers. Great spot. Best Burger in EP for sure..
