Charcoal is a very retro experience even more of what I imagine a Friday-night staple to be 5han the oft-named Chico's. Their burgers are grilled and have the charcoal quality you expect from a place like this, without the greasy flattop quality you often find. Their onion rings are breaded with batter, not crumb-coated, and the rings and fries are always served piping hot. I had the pineapple fried pie for dessert; it was hot and good, about what you expect from drive- through fried pie. Most of their burgers are grilled rather than fried, but everything else appears to come from a fry basket. I suppose it would just go to waste if they offered a salad.

First time coming to Charcoaler after reading a few reviews! Great atmosphere for kids, kinda makes you feel like your in someones backyard having a BBQ. We tried a few things off the menu and everything was absolutely delicious! Little disappointed with the pies ordered pies came out almost frozen in the middle we brought it up to cashier to see if they are suppose to be cold but all she said is no should be hot since they are fried together but that's it didn't offer to replace. Disappointed with that.

The dead cat in the parking lot should have been a sign. The food was not very tasty, the shakes were terrible. The one we used to have on the east side was far better...very disappointed.

I used to love this place, seems like since they have been going down in flavor since they did their comeback. Did the BBQ sauce change? The last time we went the friend pickles and chicken nuggets were burnt. I had a burn burger in my passed orders. I'm liking it less and less.

Hamburgers and meat patty was small. We ordered tomato and lettuce. Got one small slice of lettuce, one slice of tomato, and one pickle. The hot dog was weiners in a hamburger bun. Onion rings were soggy.

Same iconic experience I've come to love since the early 70's. For is Great and I love the beautiful outdoor area, finally put that vast real estate to good use!.

The burger was mediocre. The pies tasted like dirt (???? yikes), and the pickle fries were small strips of pickle overwhelmed by burnt overly salty bread. I won't be coming back.

Hard workers and great customer service!

Went to Charcoalers with my father and my beautiful niece on a nice and warm Saturday. The cashier was very friendly. Greeted us with a smile and any questions we had about the menu, she was very attentive and pleasant. The burgers are delicious as well as their crispy fresh cut fries. Cute play area outside and enough shade to sit for outdoor seatings as well. Also, the bathrooms were very clean and well kept.
