The employees don't seem to realize that a pint of custard is on the menu. One time I was told that they didn't have pint containers. Today I was told I could order the 99 cent custard or the 3.99 custard. I was told that the .99 custard had one scoop and the 3.99 had 3 scoops. Why does the 3 scoops cost a dollar more than 3 scoops of the .99 custard? I also ordered the limeade and got water. The chicken is good.
Ordered 2combos and a small vanilla cup and when they past the ice cream to me the spoon inside of cup it was dirty.!!.. they promptly got me another one…Then I drove home and noticed they didn’t give me the upgraded fries when I had ordered it on both combos went back brought it to their attention.Came back home ASSUMING I HAD THE CORRECT ORDER! and then realized that they only gave me one combo with the boss fries that I had orderedProceeded to go back again and just ask for a full refundThat’s just disappointing to be honest.
Horrible experience. I had to go to the restaurant twice to try and get my order fixed. The last time I walked in I heard everyone start complaining and saying “he’s back”. Very unprofessional workers. I ended up going else where to spend my money. I would not recommend this boss chicken. It’s a shame because this is actually a good restaurant around EL Paso but not this one. Take your business else where or other Boss Tenders, Dogs, & Custard at a different location.
I havent gone inside only the drive thru and it is a wait but the wait is worth it. The chicken is well cooked and seasoned to the gods! Don't know what the spices are for the spicy chicken but it is packed with flavor, the fries are fresh and flavorful not bland and the bread is crunchy yet soft and tastes buttery . Its my third time and so far its delicious! I order the tenders which are not too big but if you get the meal i def got full and lemonade was def homemade and not too sweet overall i love it! Big fan of the mango habanero too
I would of gave it 5 stars, but this specific location (Lee trevino) seems to be hit or miss with the tenders. On several occasions the chicken is over cooked which makes it tough and dry especially at the ends, which then become un-eatable. Everything else seems to be on par with the other restaurant locations, which is delicious!
food is pretty good and cheap. there's a drive thru. inside, most of the tables were dirty and both bathrooms were occupied for around 20 mins.
First time here, overall good food and love the lemonade but my fries were cold and when I ordered I was asked if I wanted to upgrade my fires. I wanted the chile con queso but my fries didn't get any. Maybe next time
This place used to be great. However, the portions have gotten smaller and smaller. Used to be a good meal, it’s now just a snack. Last time I went, I got 3 tiny pieces of chicken in a 4 piece box. The custards have also gotten smaller and smaller, with you paying for a large and getting 2/3 of a cup of ice cream. Just makes me frustrated it couldn’t stay the same.
The food use to be good but the last few times I have gone my food was burnt and the custard tasted funny. It’s very disappointing because we are a family of six and we each got a custard and we all threw them away because they had a weird taste. Some chicken is good like the last picture the others were burnt like the middle.
Have been eating here since they opened on Lee Trevino. Always liked it…but my last two visits around lunchtime have been lackluster. The fries and tenders are lukewarm!
