0 stars not an option.. Had to ask for utensils, napkins, to go boxes; left the to go boxes. Most places chase you down like hey bro you forgot your food. Service industry is garbage now everyone’s entitled does below minimum. Then frowns if you don’t tip. Tips are for good/great service. Not just cus you’re standing there taking up space.
GREAT VALUE! You can get a small specialty pizza for $10. That’s an excellent deal. It’s not the best pizza around town, but for the best (by my standards) you’d have to pay double. Big menu that includes soups and sandwiches so there’s something for everyone. Mostly I was impressed with the extremely reasonable prices. Worth a go! Steady but not too busy on a weekend. Only a couple outdoor tables here if that’s what you’re looking for. They have a sliding window for pick up in your car which is handy if you’re getting to go.
Food was very tasty and served in good portions. The manager was very accommodating. Our server, Fernando, provided good service but had a horrible attitude. When asked to clarify how an item was prepared he responded inappropriately with "We addressed that already." He argued instead of apologizing when an order arrived incorrectly.
The Mediterranean pizza was awesome really thin very crispy crust, tea was fresh, waitresses we're awesome.
The place was empty maybe 5 tables with 2 people at each. Our friends pizza came it was cold, had to send it back. Our pizza never came after being there an hour. We cancelled it. A couple came in with 2 kids. They waited 30 minutes nobody waited on them, so they left. I saw 2 waitresses so there's no excuse for the service we all were given. Won't go back.
An El Paso best for pizza. There is nothing on the menu that is not delicious. Nice lunch specials between 11 and 3 as well as happy hr beer and wine. They do not have pasta even though they have other Italian items like salads, soups, and sandwiches.
Ardovino's at the Substation is a great local spot and friendly for out of town guests too. The pizza, with a thinner crust, is a nice change from the thick or stuffed crust found at chain spots. The variety of toppings are to my liking, but nothing too strange. I like the Cranberry Apple Salad with the pizza. My wife prefers the white sauce on her pizza. The soup can be a great in the winter. The wine selection is pretty good with nice prices by bottle or glass plus a large beer selection. The wait staff are always A+. Plenty of parking and a nice outside waiting area for that night where it is needed. Sandwiches, calzones, and other food are available.
The service was slow and both of our pizzas were burnt. We got a lemonade that was terrible and on one of our pizzas (vegetarian) there was a piece of raw shrimp. We probably won’t ever come back.
My favorite restaurant in El Paso. Food is great every single time, service is outstanding. Fernie is the best server I've ever encountered.
