I had a horrible and weird experience at this Applebees, why? I’ll tell you why. I went here with my brother and niece, we were greeted by our waiter, but everything went downhill from there. First, the food wasn’t that great, only the water was delicious. Second, the employees were just talking, not doing their job. Third, the restrooms were horrible, one of the toilets took forever to flush and anyone can see you through the crack of the stall which was uncomfortable. This was the first time I went to this Applebees and it was a bust. I wouldn’t go or recommend you to go here at all. We were here at 4:30 PM, May 25, just to prove we were here.
Very dark inside, had to use camera flashlight to see the menu. It was very busy on a Friday nite at 7 pm, and very noisy. The waitress got the order wrong, too busy to really pay attention to what she was doing. The food was not delivered by her so we didn't get to ask for extra condiments until we'll after we had started eating. I asked for butter for my mashed potatoes and I was given some kind of butter sauce. It looked gross, tasted ok, but it was not butter. I also ordered the"Perfect Margarita" which was not priced on the menu. But when we got the bill, we not only got charged $5.75 for the margarita, but another $3.25 for the tequila. SINCE WHEN DO YOU ORDER A COCKTAIL AND HAVE TO PAY SEPARATELY FOR THE BOOZE! Is this an Applebee's thing or just this restaurant. I just was not impressed with this particular place.
This is the Applebee's at Yarborough. Was in the big room. Manager was rude. We asked for the TV and she was in a bad room. She didn't even turn on the lights. Chicken platter was more like chicken fingers. My husband meat was fat. Potatoes had no flavor. Paid $1.29 for cheesey broccoli. I paid $1.29 for a pinch of shredded cheese. Bartender didn't know how to make a bloody Mary.
Place is dirty and definitely needs some upgrading. Employees need training on professionalism.We notified manager that our utensils were all dirty and she acted like if it was no big deal.
Only negative is my son's burger was supposed to have lettuce and tomatoes and we got it plain. Other than that everything was perfect, the boneless wings were cooked all the way and the quesadillas were good. Have no complaints.
My sister and I came on Monday night to enjoy some burgers. My sister had a prime rib burger while I had the quesadilla burger. Atmosphere is real lovely and the servers are really friendly, however, I wish they told us the price of the sodas prior to ordering because they cost $2.95.
Was invited to join my girl and mother in law at Applebee's for dinner. My food was ok. But they served my mother in law food cold and forgot one of her sides. Instead of apologizing for her mistake the sever lied and said we didn't order the side dish. She had the Manger finish serving us an gave my mother in law a free desert.
It was a long wait for a party of twelve however do to congress handing out money and people not wanting to work ill let it slide ?. As always food is delicious and great service our waitress worked her tail off. Good job!

Applebee's is bad. Food is very bland and dry. Ordered a dish in specific and was advised they no longer carried it. Another customer ordered it and they were served. Not worth spending a dime, let alone $70 for distasteful food I could have gotten in McDonalds for $20.
