I came to taco palenque for my lunch break, I usually order the #5 which comes with two quesadillas with fajita. I always ask to substitute the fajita for chicken, which is a simple task that should not be that difficult to complete in my opinion. Especially given that ‘de pollo’ was listed on my receipt. All in all, my order came out wrong. I was slightly disappointed given that I had to get back to work as quick as possible. But the host of that shift Eduardo Juarez, made sure that my order got fixed in a timely manner and made everything just right for me.

Fajitas? Hardly! I got 1 small slice of a pepper with a bunch of onions and dry chicken. Fajitas are supposed to have plenty of peppers & onions! I’m getting so mad at all these Mexican restaurants not giving me what is supposed to be in chicken fajitas. Also, it didn’t come with cheese (unheard of). I specifically said more than once “no guacamole or Avocado” because of an allergy and they still put it on my plate touching my food. The rice is terrible like they added way too much of some kind of red sauce to it. The nacho cheese is the same as the gas station stuff with less of a spicy kick (I prefer nacho cheese to be more spicy). Too much cinnamon in the horchata for my taste, I couldn’t drink it. For this type of quality I wish I would’ve just went to Chipotle where they actually have a reliable mix of fajita peppers & onions. This place is somewhere between Chipotle and Taco Bell when it comes to food quality but it doesn’t taste as good as either of those places to me. I’m still looking for good chicken fajitas in the area. So many Mexican restaurants & trucks to choose from and I’ve already tried many of them. I’m getting disappointed with Mexican food so far here and I normally love Mexican food. I am a very picky eater.

If you love quesadillas as much as I do, the SUPER QUESADILLA with fajita is for you! It is two, huge flour tortillas stuffed like a sandwich with queso and fajita. It is cut like a pizza, though! Each slice of quesadilla is delicious, especially if you add some beans (provided with this plate). The baked potato is very lackluster. It is not the greatest, and a bit on the smaller size compared to other places I've tried. It is somewhat dry. It probably needs butter.Be ready to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your order at the drive-thru on a busy weekend evening!

After paying for my phone order, Eduardo was very attentive to ask about my order. He quickly let the kitchen know about my order. Within minutes he had my order and made sure everything was correct. He also let me know about the salsa bar just in case I wanted something else. As I left he wished me on to have a great. Great customer service.

Food is great everything is good, the only problem is there's always people asking for money inside. Almost every time I go there's someone inside pretending to be customers then goes to your table, tells a story and ask for money. I understand there's people in need but management have to do something because I can never eat in peace without someone coming to your table to ask for money, and most the times they say they are sick about something. I don't want people sick getting near me while I'm eating. I have considered eating elsewhere because of it.

VERY DELICOUS FOOD SHOUT OUT TO THE MANAGER OF THE NIGHT CREW YALL DOING A GREAT JOB FELLAS. CHIPS AND SALSAS WERE BOMB!

It was kind of annoying that I had to repeat my order to the drive thru worker so many times, and embarrassing that I had to be yelling. I’m not sure if there’s a problem with the drive thru speaker/microphone. The food was great though, everyone really enjoyed it.

Amazing food. I was very hungry. I don't know the menu at all and I am a vegetarian. The lady at checkout recommended this. I don't really know what it is. But I came, I saw, I smashed. Now I has a food baby. Thank you.

The complaints I have toward this restaurant might be because of the pandemic, so it might be something to consider. The staff was inexperienced so it took a while for me to be able to order, the wait time for my food was long considering it was three in the morning with few customers. The food itself was tolerable. These are problems that you might be able to over look, my problem is that this is the same experience I have every time I've visited this location. The only reason I visited Taco Palenque was because I visited a McDonalds and a Jack In The Box but both were closed.

I ordered caldo de Res. It looked like left over food being fed to a bear served in dirt filthy water. Big chunks of vegetables in brown water. Just a ridiculous caldo that is served there. I'm more than sure everyone who orders this is disappointed as well.
