I decided to try this place based on reviews....This place does NOT have the best chicken in town. The chicken looked good, but the breading tasted like Chester's chicken to me - like old oil. The chicken breast was as tiny as the leg and the meat was so dry and flavorless. The burger was OK. My favorite thing there were the fries that are bought frozen and kinda taste like the old Wendy's fries (Big Daddy's Burgers have the same fries). The place smelled really weird like old moldy things which is not great when you're trying to eat. We left and went directly to Starlite Burger 3 blocks away where they DO have the best chicken in town.
Got what I assume was a typical quarter pound burger with cheese. It certainly wasn't a 1/3 or 1/2 pounder like some places but it was under 5 bucks and super soft and filling so it was nice. Total with fries and two drinks was under 9 dollars and it was all very filling so in comparison to the rest of the field it was a pretty good deal. The setting might not suit everyone so it's hard to say everyone would see it as a 5 star place overall and while the food was good and also cheap, it wasn't anything to get excited about so 4 stars seems fair.
A good old fashioned burger and fries!!
Hamburger King has been there before I was born and their burgers are still the best

Food and service is not the same. Food was warm and prices arent reasonable. Hard to see a restaurant that has been around since 1943 go down on a bad note. Thank you hamburger king for the great memories and food that youll had at one time.
Best chicken plate ever. Very dated restaurant, certainly a staple in the community. Looking past that, no one beats their chicken.
