If you're running out of flour tortillas, wouldn't you think to make more? Botana for 2 is the same as botana for 3 and 4 with increased amount of chips. Would not recommend this place at all. I went in there with my bestie and had gotten the botana for 2, did not fill me up. So next time I ordered it for 3 persons with the same bestie and they just added more chips, seems like less meat and everything. Don't think I'll go back. Don't tell me thanks for the feedback either. Fix this issue and ask me to come back. Earn the respect from your customers.
Nice environment and super friendly and fast service. Food is good and their specialty is seafood. They have daily lunch specials, which the waiters are real good on commenting them before you order. They don't sell alcohol, which would make it perfect with the seafood. Also they lack parking space. O
Worst Fajita Panchos , Ordered some Panchos with Fajita , and Never again ...only had a little bit of Fajita but mostly chips....for $17.00 no way rather go to Trevino's or Zamora's for some Good Mexican, and better portions for the price.....
My wife and I had been wanting to try this place and we did so today. Honestly, not the worst food you could eat. However, the meals were lacking and not as tasty as other, similar, restaurants. The meal starts with standard chips and salsa, El Porton adds a bean dip. I ordered the beef fajitas with shrimp and my wife ordered caldo de marisco. The shrimp in both our meals was overcooked. So, too, was my fajita. Our children had the kids combo with the carne asada tacos. The kids ate well enough to let us know it was decent. I will say the corn tortillas were fresh, hot, and one of the better restaurant tortillas. The service, with competent wait staff, was standard. El Porton is decorated in bright pastel colors and is located on a corner suite that let's in a high amount of daylight. As you're paying at the counter, there are kick knacks to purchase. In the display case are a variety of traditional Mexican candies and snacks. I'll update this review as necessary as I do intend to try El Porton at a later time. Overall, a standard restaurant with no distinguishing dish.
This place has great food. I love their tacos, always fresh. They have a pretty good shrimp cocktail. The enchiladas are also really good. Been there twice and will return. 10/10

Good food. My wife enjoyed her beef fajitas and tortillas. Came with plenty of peppers and onion.
