Nice location staff is very friendly the theme is cool and interesting. Food on the other hand was a little bland had a taste to it for a few seconds and went away.I had order the Mexican deluxe plate and wife got the chicken fried steak(was like that for the enchiladas and the chicken fried steak) fries were okay rice wasn't dry so was okay maybe need to try something else next time
Don’t go here. We just left for Mothers Day lunch. Flies everywhere, rude customer service cause I took a cake for mom (even though we didn’t need to eat it there but couldn’t leave it in car), it was so hot in the building and they don’t substitute any food for another. Yet, they were worried about us taking in a cake. LOL. They are full of greed…. Anything to make a buck from customers. Manager doesn’t seem to care about anything but herself. How about you stop being so full of yourself and start lightening up about the simple things. Let’s see if the manager responds to this.
Wonderful experience overall, our waitress was absolutely lovely. Very attentive, speedy kitchen service, and even better food. Will be coming back soon
The atmosphere is like a country store, with a lot of country decor. My experience is mixed. Even though they are trying to go country, it ends up being another Mexican restaurant. The waitress spoke no English, most of the menu was Mexican style dishes and the sodas only came in bottles (no refill). It took a while to get our food. The country dish I did order was the ground beef steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and corn. I didn't want corn but they refused to substitute it for anything. The gravy was very thick and salty and looked like it came out of a package. No onions. Potatoes were ok.They put salsa on the table but no free chips - you have to pay, so I told her to to take it away.My wife's Mexican plate was good. Fajitas were tasty, tortillas were homemade (excellent) and rice was good.Overall, the dishes are overpriced for what you get. I can spend less with better quality at another restaurant. I have not tried there other dishes, but my guess is that they specialize in Mexican food, so dont be fooled by the decor.I may come back just to try something else, but it won't be at the top of my list.
Bought a caldo de Res (beef) and the vegetables were hard like if they had put them just there in boiling water and the broth was clear no flavor nothing very disappointed. They took over 30 min to bring it out so maybe because they were trying for vegetables to soften but they did not and the meat flavor was like if it was previous done coming from a family that make caldo i know this caldo was just made in 15 minutes
Would not give us a glass of water!! Wanted us to buy bottled. Brought 2 of us our meals quickly. The third meal a bit later and the fourth meal took awhile . Food was good with the exception of the meat in the meat bowl meal.
My husband and I went there for lunch today. He had the chicken fried steak special and I had the taco special. The tacos had approximately one tablespoon at the most of ground beef and I could actually count the strands of cheese which were 5 strands on one and 6 on the other. No spices or seasoning at all on the meat and it was only filled halfway at the most. $7.99 for that garbage!My husband's chicken fried steak was so bad he couldn't even eat it.. it had no taste and it was like they fried that meat in oil that had been sitting there for a long timeand used for several other things. Is definitely rancid oil! We're usually not picky people but that was the most terrible meal for the price and then when we complained she said we had to pay for it even though we couldn't eat it..Finally after about 10 minutes of arguing they took the Chicken fried steak off of the bill.. The waitress that took our order never came back to the table once..If you really like good food do not go to this place!
took my family , the place was nice and clean but the food was very mediocre i ordered a hash brown and they served me a little piece not a full order, the chicken fried chicken looked like two crispy chicken patties it was just not good! we are never going back and we recommend you try somewhere else
I was invited here for lunch last week. I fell in love with this place, very nice at home atmosphere, great service and clean and the food was delicious! I will definitely be going back.
I like it alot. Super clean, great service from orelia, delicious food ?and the place have very good decorations.. highly recommend
